Neville long bottom- They were roommates and they slept near each other. Neville and Caleb had most classes together. Caleb would defend him against Draco but he was still cold to him until Neville actually said something to him. They grew very close after they started to talk.
Harry Potter- for the first two years of hogwarts Caleb was very cold towards Harry despite Harry's wishes to become his
Ron Weasley- Caleb really doesn't like him. He finds him very annoying and a coward.

Albus dumbeldor- He was indifferent towards him before Harry had told him about the Dursleys and then he stormed into the office and demanded answers but it didn't really change anything but it just made him see how little dumbeldor cared for the students.
Remus Lupin- Remus actually picked up on the fact that his father was abusing him. And tried to hint that to Caleb but he never got it. Remus was definitely his favorite teacher
Family

Caleb always thought that he had to prove himself to his father by playing quidditch so he pushed himself to his limits to prove to his father. It never worked though. But he didn't realize that it was a toxic relationship until the second wizarding war when he revealed to him that he was a death eater. He immediately ran to Hogwarts where he felt the most safe.
Crush
Heromine granger- Caleb met heromine in the library in his first year. She helped him with the spells that he struggled with for the first couple of years. She almost always made small talk with him and tried to help him out of his shell. And she did. The one sided conversation became awkward conversations and the rest was history.
