*a few days later*
~~
"Natalie Allister, you said two nights and it's almost been a week! You get your ass home right this second!" My mother screamed through the phone speaker.
I cringe, feeling like I'm about to cry but the tears not coming out.
"I-I'm sorry mom, I'll get home tonight." I said calmly.
"You better! We'll talk about this with Alex when you get home." She hung up in my face.
"Harry..." I called out.
"Yeah?" He called back, walking into the room.
"I-I have to go home now." I stuttered sadly, looking down at the ground.
"No! What? Why?" He sounded genuinely hurt and I couldn't help but feel bad for him.
"My mom... called. She needs me at home." I frowned.
"Okay, I guess I'll drop you off." He said, still looking hurt.
~~
"Mom, I'm home." I called out.
"Where the hell were you?!" Oh god, no, not this again.
"I-I told you I was going to my friend's house."
"For starters, when the hell did you get friends?!" My mom yelled. If this was a cartoon, there would definitley be steam coming out of her ears. Alex laughed. I looked at him. "And second, you said two days. Not a whole fucking week!" She stormed up to me and slapped me, the force making me slip to the side a bit.
I bit my lip. Don't cry, don't cry, don't cry, please don't cry.
"Next time you're gonna stay out late you fucking tell me!" She pushed me. I fell to the ground.
God, please. Don't cry, Natalie.

I layed in my bed, staring at my wall in silence, not thinking of anything, just laying.
My phone buzzed beside me.
"Hello?" I said into the speaker.
"Hey, babe." His voice dragged the phrase out.
"Harry? Why are you calling from a private number?"
"What? I'm not."
"Oh, okay. Um, anyways. What can I help you with?" I asked.
"Oh nothing, I was just wondering if you wanted to come over?" He asked, saying it as more of a question than a sentence.
My eyes widened as I looked down at my wrists, the cuts I made earlier still fresh, considering it was only half an hour earlier.
I internally cursed. "Natalie? Earth to Natalie!"
"Oh, um, sorry. But yeah I guess I'll come over." I stumbled over my words.
"Do you want me to pick you u-" He started, but I cut him off.
"No! I mean-uh- It's okay. I'll walk."
"Are you sure?" He asked, concerned.
"Yes. I'm sure. See you soon!"
"Er... Okay? Bye babe." I could hear the smirk in his voice, and everything in my body warmed up.
"Bye. S-See you." I hung up.
~~
After practically flipping my room upside down, I found my black jeans and a black hoodie. I changed into them, put on my white worn out converse, flattened my hair with my hands, rushed to find my keys, left my house, forgot my phone, ran back in to get it, went back out, sprinted to Harry's house, knocked on the door, and headed inside.
