You moved quickly through the icy streets of Schnezhnaya, you had learned after only a few days in this new place that it was either move or get trampled on in the streets of Schnezhnaya. Everyone around you seemed to have come to the same conclusion as well, waves of bundled up people bumped against you threatening to knock you over if you didn't keep moving.

Your eyes squinted against the falling snow and between the grumbling crowd, eventually landing on the entrance to an alleyway in the distance. You had spent all morning running around the town trying to get your errands done before the working crowds came in. However you heavily underestimated the amount of factory workers and cave miners that would be making there way to work.

You felt your feet throbbing with pain in your soaking wet boots. you mentally scolded yourself for assuming your mondstat hiking boots would last through the snow and ice of Schnezhnaya. You'd made a mental note to yourself not to go out again until you got your hands on some snow-proof boots.

Clutching your bag of herbs from the Apothecary, you side stepped a man coming your way. Focused on making it to the alleyway, you heard the angry grumbles of passersby's as you felt them bump into you. With each collision you mumbled a quick "sorry" but continued forward. Eventually you wove your way out of the crowd, making it to the alleyway.

You took a moment to lean against the wall and catch your breath as you lowered the scarf that had been covering the bottom half of your face. steam came from your breath as you exhaled into the chilled air. You hadn't realized how exhausted you where trying to keep up with the crowd until you had stopped to rest. your eyes flicked down the alleyway , perhaps this could be a shortcut to your house? it would definitely be better than having to navigate those crowds again.

just as you where pondering this you heard a voice down the alleyway.

"You look a lot prettier with your scarf down little mouse" Confused you looked to your left, seeing two men walk towards you. One with a dark hood and a mask covering his face, the other with holding a glowing rifle and wearing a top hat as he approached. You didn't know who they were, but you knew immediately what they are.

Fatui.

Specifically a Pyro agent and a Pyroslinger. Fatui usually didn't intimidate you, however as the two men neared you became even more aware of the weapons they held. "oh um, do you need something sir?" you hated how meek you sounded, however you heard the Pyroslinger chuckle as he stepped closer. His Pyro agent friend not saying a word as he stood to your left. trapping you between them.

"do we make you nervous sweetheart?" the Pyroslinger laughed to himself again as he leaned in, resting his arm against the wall to your right. "it's dangerous out here for pretty tourist girls, we'll walk you home safe and sound alright little mouse?"

You cringed at the stupid nickname he called you as you looked between his friend and him. "you're both too kind, but I'll be fine have a good evening-"

You stepped away from the Pyroslinger only to run straight into the pyro agent, who was now standing closer to you, blocking your escape. You felt a disgusting pit in your stomach as you felt the Pyroslinger come up behind you. "I insist" he said you resisted to urge to smack him as he whispered, " I promise mouse, we can get a LOT scarier if you make this difficult"

You felt like you were about to vomit as you felt the Pyroslinger's hand slip down to the small of your back. Was this how you go missing? would anyone even look for you in this nation? would anyone even care?

"there you are Darling, I was looking for you"

the three of you stopped and looked up at the sound of a woman's voice. A tall woman walked towards you, her short white hair striped with streaks of black. you watched as she gently pulled you away from the two men, wrapping her arm around you as the men stared in a mix a confusion and fear.
