Chapter 11: Family reunion

A few days later...

Dei's POV:
I laid in the barn, thinking of my life. A question popped out of nowhere and I was gonna ask Peter. "Hey bro, do you know that-... Right, I live alone now..." I never felt so empty in my entire life. As far as I remember, Peter was always there with me, even when I formed. It was so lonely here since Peter moved in with Andy since they got married. I thought I could drop by for a visit but thought better of it. "They're probably busy..." I heard someone open the barn doors and I saw Melody. "Hey Mel, how's it going?" I stood up and put on a fake smile. ".... Drop the act Dei, I know you're not happy..." I immediately looked down. "You're right, I can never fake my emotions around you..." I felt Melody put her arm around me. "Why don't you go visit your brother? I'm sure he misses you a lot..." She requested. "I better not. I don't want to distract him from taking care of his pregnant apple, after all, I'd be disturbing them." I mumbled. I felt like crying when I said that but I kept it in. Don't want to look weak in front of Melody. "Hmm... you can come hang out with me or Felix if you want, we'd be glad to have you over..." She said. I stayed silent. "Thanks, I'll think about it." As she left, I lay back down and curled myself up, as I cried quietly.

Andy's POV:
"Oh Peter..." I rubbed Peter's head back and forth as he slept on the couch after not having any sleep last night. Margaret was making some tea for me, Peter, Felix, and Claus. Ever since Dei stopped coming over and lived in the barn on her own, Peter been staying up late at night and would sometimes cry while he's asleep. He misses Dei and I miss her as well. We heard Melody opened the door. "How is she?" Asked Claus. "She's even worse, she kept calling herself a disturbance and looked like she hadn't slept in a long time. She even looked like she's been crying..." We all looked at each other. "Just like Peter..." Felix said. "We gotta get her out of there. She's mentally hurting herself and not knowing she's hurting Peter too..." Margaret said. We all knew she was right. "Maybe we should give her space for now and then-..." I stood and made my way to the door. "Andy, where are you-..." I closed the door and made my way to the barn. She can't keep doing this to herself, she's just a minor and she just hurting herself like this. I opened the doors, only to see Dei crying in the ground. I sat down next to her and put my hand on her shoulder. "Dei, stop doing this to yourself, it's bad for your health and I don't think Peter gonna be happy about this..." I said softly. She turned her head and looked at me. She had a few tears running down her cheek. I wiped them off. "C'mon Dei, get up and get your things. You're living with us from now on. No buts." She grabbed a few of her things and slowly followed me to my house. "I don't understand, wouldn't I be bothering you and Peter if I live with you guys?" I looked at her and gave her a hug. "You'll never be a bother to us Dei. You'll always be special to me and to Peter. He's been having issues ever since you've been living on your own and its been getting worse and..." She immediately pulled away. "What the hell are we standing here when my brother is probably SUFFERING RIGHT NOW. LET'S GO!!!" She immediately grabbed me and ran to our house. She kicked down the door and put me down. We turned around only to see Peter sitting in the couch. Dei immediately ran over to Peter and hugged him. Peter hugged her back and immediately started crying. Everyone joined in, knowing that the entity siblings have reunited. "Why- why are you here?" Peter asked. "Andy came to the barn and told me to come here to live with you guys." Peter looked at me and smiled. "Andy, get your pregnant ass over here, you're part of the family now..." Dei pulled me in to the family hug. "Thank you Andy..." Dei whispered softly. We talked for a few hours until it was time for us to go to sleep. As everyone was leaving, I showed Dei to her new room. "Didn't you have only 1 spare room?" She asked. "Actually, I had 2 extra rooms but one of them was filled with junk until we got rid of them a few days ago. You can sleep in here if you want." "Thanks Andy, you're the best." She went into her room and started putting some stuff up her walls. Some paintings and a crochet bag near her bed. I help put a few things that were a bit out of her reach. "Do you think you can hang it up there?" Dei asked. "I don't think I can..." I looked at the spot she was pointing, it was near the ceiling and I wasn't able to reach. "Imma get Peter-" "No need for that Andy." I jumped as I heard Peter's voice from behind me. He grabbed me and lifted me to the spot where Dei was pointing. As I hung it, I felt a bit dizzy and I asked if Peter could put me down. As he lowered me down, I started getting sick and ran to the bathroom. Not again. "Pregnancy tough Andy, but it'll be over in at least 9 months." Dei said. "I hope your right..." I said while cleaning my teeth. "How do you know about all of this?" I asked Dei. "Hey, some things I get very curious about. I'll be here to help you every step of the way."
