Chapter 12: Gender reveal

3rd POV:
Everyone in Andy's house were getting ready to go the hospital, to see how the baby has been growing. It's been a few months since our little apple been pregnant. 6 to be exact.

Andy's POV:
We were all waiting in the waiting room, ready for the ultrasound and see how my baby been doing for the last 6 months. Dei was busy crocheting a scarf while Peter watch. We were called into the next room. There I laid in this chair thing and waited for the nurse to come in. "Nervous Andy?" Dei said. "Why would I be nervous?" I asked. "You always hate it when they apply that cream on your stomach." Peter said. "It's so cold tho, I don't like it..." I said in my defense. "If I ever ate a lot of food, I'd be around your size by now." She impersonated herself like if she was pregnant. "Stop it Dei, it ain't funny." Peter said. "Alright, but I don't see why you're so nervous about this anyway. I thought you'd be used to this by now..." She said. "Well, let me put it this way. Our baby is about to be born in 3 months and we're about to see them almost completely formed. Isn't that exciting and also nerve wrecking?" I explained. "I see your point now, How do we even know if it's a boy or a girl?" She responded. "They would just tell us, I guess." Peter said. "How about we have a gender reveal about it? It would be fun to plan." Dei said. Peter thought it was a good idea. I gave her a thumbs up in approval. After the appointment, Dei started planning immediately. "Hmm, since they gave us the baby's gender in this envelope and I'm the only one that knows the baby's gender since I'm planning this party, how about we have that balloon pop thingy? It can be filled with the color of the baby, blue for boy and pink for girl." "Not bad Dei, I hope it's a boy tho." Peter said. "Same here." She said. "I prefer a girl and Margaret and Melody would too." I said. "We'll let the party decide for that gentlemen." Dei said. As we made it to the house, Margaret and Melody were waiting for us. "Hey Andy, did they tell you the baby's gender yet?" Melody asked. "Actually, we're gonna have a gender reveal. Dei said it would be fun." I replied. "How do we even do those?" Margaret asked. "I don't know but Dei already planned everything while we made our way here." They were excited to see how it goes. "I hope it's a girl." "Me too." They looked excited since they want a girl. Dei came by and asked me something. "Hey Andy, how about we all dress as the gender of the baby. It would be fun." I thought for a moment. "Sure why not. It would be fun." Dei left to go tell the others. I realized Peter was gone. He must have went to the house already. I went inside the house and Peter wasn't there. "How strange...".

Peter's POV:
As Dei was explaining to Andy about the whole party thing, it was my cue to leave. If I know Dei, she would of asked me to go get the supplies for the party and set it up at the barn. I was busy looking for some blue and pink decorations in the barn that I stumbled across a box. I looked inside and it was some of Dei's old baby clothes. I sorta made them myself. I remembered how Dei would always stay with me even when we go to sleep. She was scared of the dark but I kept her safe. Can't believe time goes by very quickly. I put the stuff away and looked for the decorations again. I was able to find some and started setting up. I was putting some blue and pink paper chains up on the entrance of the barn until someone jumped on me from behind. "Heya Peter, is everything ready for the party?" I turned around and it was Dei. "Almost, I need you to put some streamers around the paper chains." She threw a few up and some were able to land on the chains. It was sorta fun to watch her struggle a bit when trying to decorate on places she can't reach. I went over and helped her. We both looked around and I gotta say, we did pretty good on decorating for the party. "C'mon Peter!!! Put on something blue if you want the baby to be a boy." She pushed me. "I don't have anything blue to wear. How about you give me your beanie since it blue and we get the others." "Fine, you're lucky I like to wear blue." She passed me her beanie and I out it on my head. We went separate ways to go tell the others. I went to tell Andy, Claus, and Margaret while she went to tell Melody and Felix. We all made our way back to the barn. Dei already set up the balloon to pop. We were gonna throw some darts at it, since it's gonna be moving side to side. We all talked for a while and made our little theories on what the baby would look and what gender it would be. Finally, it was time to pop the balloon. We all made a line, shortest to tallest (me being last and Felix being first). Felix missed. Melody missed. Andy almost had it. Dei didn't even try. Claus wasn't even close to getting it. Margaret was almost as close as Andy did. It was my turn and I somehow missed. "Oh c'mon. How did we all miss?" I thought out loud. "I don't know, how about you and Andy stand under there while I look for the darts?" Dei started looking for the darts. Me and Andy stood under the balloon until we heard a pop from above us. Turns out Dei had another dart under her sleeve. Clever Dragon. Me and Andy looked at each other, we both were covered in blue powder.

We're gonna have a boy.
