"My back hurts so much. Fuck you." Izuku slid under the covers and turned away from Katsuki, who was sitting on the edge of the bed. "Have I really gotten that rough? You used to never complain, people in the comments pointed it out a lot at the start of our relationship. We thought maybe it was cause you're so used to overworking your body, but the author doesn't actually have an explanation for her logic. So.." "Kacchan. Stop breaking the fourth wall. My head is pounding too much for that right now." Katsuki rolls his eyes. "You know you enjoyed it though." He slid under the covers behind Izuku and wrapped his arms around him, kissing his cheek. "Yeah.. I guess you're right." Katsuki smiled at his boyfriend's response. "Hey Izuku.. I've been wanting to give you something." Izuku turned around, facing him. Katsuki laughed at his eagerness, climbing out of bed and going through his side of the closet, coming back with something behind his back. Izuku raised an eyebrow and sat up, Katsuki sitting next to him. Katsuki took out a small ring, it was black with a stripe of bright teal, like his hero suit, going all around. "Izuku" carved into it.
"It's a promise ring. We just graduated and we're not even twenty yet, but I know that I want you to be the one I marry. The one I propose for real to. So.. how bout it?" Izuku smiled, tears fell from his eyes in gallons as he jumped on Katsuki, kissing him. When they broke the kiss, Katsuki wiped his tears away and looked into his eyes. "I need an answer nerd." Izuku laughed and stuck his hand out, "Of course you idiot." Katsuki brushed off the insult, he was too busy smiling. He put the ring on Izuku, who jumped and hugged him again. Then he shot back up, "I ALMOST FORGOT!" He ran out of the room coming back and tackling Katsuki on the bed. "It's not as special as yours was.. but I also want you to be the one I marry- if that wasn't obvious." He pulled out a ring, it was a black band with two orange stripes forming an "X" just like his hero costume. "I had it custom made! And it's heat resistant and damage resistant since you like to blow things up!" Katsuki chuckled, "Fuck I love you." He scooped Izuku up and kissed him, the greenette sliding the ring onto his finger. They both stuck their hands out, admiring the rings on their fingers. Everything was finally making sense.
