As we see villagers drinking and celebrating at a festival.We also see a saddened Naruto walking amongst the crowd.You may wonder why Naruto is sad.That is because every year on this day the villagers beat him up.They always beat him near death.
Time skip to the forest of death

The villagers were about kill Naruto with their weapons , but that is when an old man wearing a blindfold suddenly appeared.

A demon I don't see a demon.I only see a bunch of adults picking on a helpless child" Said the old man

But something surprising happened the old man appeared in front of the villager and proceeded to break his neck.
You..."said a villager scared
The old man proceeded to kill all the villagers.
After that he went to Naruto and asked him if he was alright.
Time skip next day at the old man's house
