Chapter 14

***Journee pov***

Mummy just headed upstairs to go get ready leaving me sitting on the counter in the kitchen with Aunt Bonnie. "So how old are you Journee?" Aunt Bonnie asks me. "I just turned nine. My birthday is February 8." I reply. "Cool. Are you excited for Christmas?" Aunt Bonnie asks. "Yeah I am really excited. I never have had a family so I'm really excited to celebrate with mummy." I tell Aunt Bonnie. "That is so sweet.

What kinds of things do you like to do?" She replies as she pours a cup of coffee. "I like to read and watch movies and listen to music." I reply. "Who is your favourite singer?" Aunt Bonnie asks. "Adele, and my favourite books are Harry Potter." I reply. "Have you seen the movies?" Aunt Bonnie replies. "Yeah they are awesome.

My favourite is the second and the seventh part one." I tell her. "The seventh part two is my favourite. Who is your favourite character?" Aunt Bonnie says. "Ginny of course. That's why I am so shy around you it's weird having someone you have watched in movies talk to you in real life. I have gotten used to mum my, but other people are the problem." I say. "Oh sweetheart there is no reason to be shy.

All of your mum's friends will love you." Bonnie replies. "Aren't I suppose to be getting ready?" I ask. "Oh yeah right. Do you need help down?" She asks. I just nod. Aunt Bonnie picks me up and places me on the floor. Let's go change in this bedroom." Aunt Bonnie says as she leads me into a door off of the sitting room. Once we get there Aunt Bonnie helps me get dressed in the new clothes she bought me.

I love my outfit!! My tutu is very frilly and it matches perfectly with my boots and my shirt, and it is just perfect. Aunt Bonnie brushes my hair and then puts the pink bow in it. "You look like a princess." Aunt Bonnie says as she smiles. "I feel like a princess. Aunt Bonnie can you be my best friend?" I ask her. I mean Aunt Bonnie is pretty awesome and it is clear she loves me as much as mummy does. "Of course I will be you best friend as long as you can be mine." Aunt Bonnie tells me.

"I think that can be arranged." I say and then giggle. "Come on silly mummy is probably all ready by now. When we come out of the bedroom mummy is in the kitchen with a cup of coffee. "Mummy mummy Aunt Bonnie is going to be my best friend!" I say as I run to her and then she picks me up. "Is that so princess?" Mum replies. "Yes it is so." I tell her. "Come on let's go get some brunch." Mummy says.

"Where should we go first?" Mummy asks. We just finished brunch and now we are in the car deciding what store to go to first. "The store." I reply. "Yes silly but which store." Aunt Bonnie says. When mummy and Aunt Bonnie figure out which store we are going to mum starts driving. "So miss Belle what do you want for Christmas?" Aunt Bonnie asks. "I'm not really sure." I reply. "You have to want something like an American girl doll or some Barbies or what about a puppy." I've always wanted a puppy. "Bonnie do not get her wanting a puppy. You know I travel to much to have one." Mummy tell Aunt Bonnie. Then mummy says, "Belle you can have anything except an animal." "I really don't know what I want. I already have a family, and that's enough for me." I say. "Aww that is so sweet." Aunt Bonnie says. Then we park and go into the store.

We go clothes shopping first. For two hours we go from store buying dresses, shirts, skirts, pants, socks, underwear, pyjamas, shoes, and jackets. Then Aunt Bonnie says I need hair bows to match all my new clothes so we go to this shop and get lots of hair bows.

As we get in the car I ask, "What's next?" "How about we go shopping for your room." Mummy says. I give her a smile back and say, "Awesome!!" We reach the next store and Aunt Bonnie unbuckles me and then picks me up and holds me on her hip. "So have you been having a good day so far miss Journee." "Yeah." I reply. When we get in the store we get a bed, a dresser, a bookshelf, a toy chest, and a little table with chairs.

Then mummy buys all of it and we head to the next store. There we get pink sheets, a pink polka dot comforter, decorative pillows, curtains, and a pink rug for the floor. "Mummy can we go home." I say as we get into the car again. "Yes I think we have everything we need. Or most of what we need at least." Mummy says. "Yeah it's six thirty.

We have been shopping for over five hours." Aunt Bonnie says. "When are we going to eat dinner?" I ask. "Your mummy and I were thinking that we would get some pizza delivered to your house. Does that sound okay?" Aunt Bonnie says. "Yeah I loooove pizza. It is my favourite next to ice cream and chocolate." I say. "You have great taste in food miss Journee." Aunt Bonnie tells me. I just smile and then mummy pulls into the driveway and helps me out of the car.

***Emma pov***

I am so happy Journee likes Bonnie. I am getting out plates and pouring drinks for dinner. Bonnie is upstairs helping Belle put on some pyjamas. Then the doorbell rings. I walk to the front door and open it. "One large pepperoni pizza." The guy says. "Thank you keep the change." I say as I hand him the money and take the pizza from him.

I put the pizza on the kitchen counter and then I hear the potter patter of Journee running to the kitchen. "Mummy was that the pizza man do you have the pizza?" Journee says as she jumps into my arms. Bonnie walks into the kitchen as I reply, "Yes the pizza is here." "Aunt Bonnie braided my hair mummy. Look how pretty my hair is." Journee says. "Wow Journee it is very pretty. Did you thank Aunt Bonnie?" I say to her.

She wiggles out of my arms and then she runs over to Bonnie. "Thank you Aunt Bonnie."she says as she gives Bonnie a hug. "Your welcome miss Journee." Bonnie replies. "Can we eat the pizza now?" Journee asks. "Oh course." I reply.
