I remembered how Shawn once told me what he would wish for.
Being the best buddy throughout our school years, it was on the night of our high school graduation that he shared these words, to which I labelled him insane and snapped at him to shut up.
We parted ways after that and being too focused for settling a good career and occupied with further studies, we hardly met and talked.
Our conversation soon shortened to I'm fine and take care, although we both were aware of how wearisome and monotonous our life had become.
I missed our togetherness.
