The SanDiego Gang were in their HQ having a very funny, normal conversation. Well, normal for them at least.
Zack: It's true tho!
Ivy: Zack... no.
Zack: No way, Carm?!
Carmen: Though it's true you have decent acting skills, you're to old to play Ron Weasley and even if you were I don't think you'd need to act.
Zack: Thank you.... Hey!
Ivy: Plus you're terrible at accents.
Zack: Huh?! I'm great with accents! Shadowsan?
Shadowsan: Hmm.
Zack:...Player, tell them... Player?
The other three now turn to the screen to where the teen was shown staring off into space, with a vacant expression on.
Carmen: Earth to Player?
Ivy: Yo P1! You good?!
Player snapped back to reality at the sound of Ivy's out voice.
Player: Oh! Sorry...
Carmen: Are you ok Player?
Zack: Yeah, you're kinda out of it.
Player: No it's ... it's nothing. Hey Carmen?
Carmen: Yeah?
Player: Have you ever wondered if your mom looked for you?
Carmen was taken aback at the question. They had just found out about more of Carmen's past and about how her mother's alive. Come to think of it, Player never liked talking about family and always changed the subject when talking about his family.
Carmen:... Well yes, but I always assumed she thought I was dead if she heard about what happened to my dad. Why do you ask?
Player: No reason...
Zack: You have both your parents right?
Player: Well, technically I have my mom and stepdad, the got together around the time I met you Red.
Carmen: You never told me about that?
Player: Cause my stepdad's a character. Has trouble understanding boundaries with women or otherwise. Though he's a honest and nice guy he's kinda weird up there points to his head and pokes.
Ivy: Ewww, gross! I hate men like that! The amount of them I've met and they've hit on me.
Zack: The amount of them that made it out of that conversation unscathed.
Carmen: Hehe.
Shadowsan: Has this man harmed you or your mother?
Everyone turns to the man, and Player stiffened at the question.
Player: No...
Shadowsan didn't quite believe that and raised his eyebrow still with the same serious face. Carmen saw his uneasiness as well.
Carmen: Are you sure?
Player: Yes I'm su-
A knock on Player's bedroom door is heard.
...: Caden! (Yes that's his name for this. He doesn't have a cannon one and I made this name when I was 13 HUSH).
Player: Yeah?!
Ivy: Pfft! Caden really?
Zack: chuckles 🤭
Player: Hmmp 😒
