Part 2- Meeting the crew

It has been a week since Player's family grew by two. The twins weren't so bad to live with. They didn't want to go to kinder and even begged to go to grade school instead, despite them not wanting to go to school at all, but their dad wouldn't have it. They never really listened to their Dad, and though the respected their new stepmother, they only ever really talked to her if mandatory. The only person that listened to was Player. They'd often sit with him and watch him code or hack and Koda was especially fascinated by it. They both became more comfortable and asked a lot of questions.

Koda: What are you doing exactly?

Player: Hacking.

Koda: Isn't that bad?

Player: Not if the people your hacking are bad people.

Kamila: So what are you hacking?

Player pointed to the green drive plugged into his computer with the Vile insignia on the side.

Player: This has info on it that is needed to stop the bad people and I hack into it to get that info.

Koda: Cool~

Player had no idea why he was telling them all this,. Well they were 6 and didn't really understand the whole situation, so. But still, he never really got to talk about stuff like this with anyone outside the gang. It was nice, to say the least.

Kamila: So who do you give the information to?

As of right on cue, Carmen's caller ID appeared on the screen. Player hesitated answering, but he ended up doing it anyway. Carmen's face appears on screen.

Carmen: Hey Player have you-

Carmen cut herself off at the sight of the two young kids on Player's lap.

Carmen: Umm who are they Player?

Carmen's question caught the ears of the red head siblings. They walk over to the couch where Carmen was and look at the screen.

Player: This is Koda and Kookie. My new step siblings. Their my stepdad's kids.

Twins: Hello!

Zack: Wait, their twins?

Ivy: Yea Captain obvious. Why are they in your room?

Koda: Our room is right next to the streets it's too loud!

Player: These two aren't used to living in the city so they come in here when it gets too loud outside.

Carmen: Ok then. Hi kids, I'm Carmen.

Ivy: Names Ivy. And Mr Captain Obvious over here is my brother Zack.

Zack: Hmmp.

Twins: Hiya!

Kookie: So are you the guys who stop bad guys with the stuff Player hacks?

Carmen: Ahh, Yeah. Whatever we are able to get we give to charities.

Koda: Oh yeah, that's what Player said to Dad when he kept asking about you guys.

Ivy: Asking about us? Why?

Koda: Because he's really nosy!

Kookie: Yeah with that big nose, it's not surprising!

This made the Ivy and Zack burst out in laughter. Carmen chuckled.

Player: Okay you two, it's nine thirty. You two have school in the morning.

The twin brunettes groans, making their step-brother roll his eyes as they slid off his lap.
