The Missing Sano

Chapter 2: Keisuke Baji's thoughts.

The invincible Mikey, his vulnerable side was only ever shown to his younger brother.

"Mikey... are you sure you're just gonna let go of Baji like that?" Draken asked as Mikey only stared at nothing.

"Baji always does whatever he wants. You can't tell what he's thinking, Kenchin." Mikey said as he smiled.

Keisuke Baji, a childhood friend of Mikey went off his own and joined Valhalla.

He remembered that his little brother often likes to hang out with Baji.

"Why do you keep siding with him Takemitchy? He always challenges me and still loses!" Kid Mikey asks Takemichi as Takemichi sweat dropped.

"Baji-kun is not weak because he kept losing Mikey-kun... He's strong because he keeps on trying." Takemichi said as little Mikey's eyes widened.

He loves his little brother.

To the point that he committed to violence after he disappeared.

Mikey softened when he met Draken, he toned his violence down a bit.

It made him forget everything.

So he's in no heart to take Baji back by force immediately.

He has to fight fair.

Pah-chin went to jail after fighting with Moebius, Mikey was devastated but showed a strong face.

Draken almost died with a stab, luckily he survived.

Mikey was left sitting alone in the shrine looking up.

"What should I do? Takemitchy..." Mikey talked to himself.

Between him and Takemichi, it was always clear that Takemichi was the mature one even for his age.

Sometimes you'd think he's an old man stuck in a toddler's body or something.

Whenever Mikey gets into fights Takemichi used to be there to stop him from doing more.

Saying words like "You don't need to beat up people who aren't worth your time" that's definitely not something a toddler should be saying.

Needless to say, Mikey is proud of his younger brother's maturity.

The only one who could handle him before Draken was Takemichi.

It's like he knew everything about him the moment they met.

"Takemitchy... look at what Baji's doing. Siding with the one who killed our brother... can you believe that?" Mikey bitterly laughed.

Kazutora only wanted to make Mikey happy.

He was blinded by anger and guilt.

Only Baji understands him.

Baji would never leave Kazutora alone, he promised not to.

Kazutora simply just needs help.

Baji has to find a way somehow...

A way to make Mikey forgive Kazutora.

But that's almost impossible isn't it?

If only...

"If only Takemitchy's here... he'd understand." Baji thought unconsciously.

Baji hates to admit but that kid had a special place in him.

"Who're you?" A kid Baji asked an unfamiliar kid he had never seen at the dojo before.

"Ah Baji, this is my lil bro. Takemitchy!" Mikey proudly says putting his arm around Takemichi's neck as Takemichi deadpanned.
