Leslie had showered and gotten ready by the time her uber was at her house. On her way to the hotel, once again, her nerves rattled her throughout her body.

She still wondered if she would tell Mason how she felt or not. She felt confident, but also very scared. She tried to think like some girls would and tell herself that if he didn't reciprocate feelings, she'd forget about him.

But, she knew herself and she knew that it wouldn't be easy for her to "forget him" just like that. No matter how hard she could try, she wouldn't want to.

Leslie thanked her driver and texted Mason to let him know she was there. He sent back a quick okay and she waited for him in the lobby.

Seeing him come out the elevator, she fixed her hair a bit and sent a wave. Once he got close enough for a hug, she mumbled a hi and pulled him in.

Leslie, who initiated the hug, stopped it now. "Maddie asked me to get all of us lunch, wanna come?" Mason asked with one arm wrapped around the girl beside him.

"Yeah, of course." She smiled at the boy. The pair walked together to a café to guess everyone's order. They sat down at a two person table as they waited for it.

"So-" Both of them started. Leslie laughed, "You can go first, I don't mind." "Okay because this is like, super important." Mason chuckled nervously.

"What's wrong? Is everything okay?" Leslie furrowed her eyebrows. She felt her heart beat faster for some reason. Just him being there with her made her heart jump.

"Well, um-" he stopped as they heard the worker call his name to come get their food. Leslie nodded for him to get the food, but when he was gone she sighed.

She thought this could be the moment either herself or him would speak on their feelings. "Ready to go?" He put the food on the table they sat at.

"Actually, I wanted to tell you something. Like now." She spat out. If she could scream right now, she would. Mason sat down, "For sure, you can tell me anything."

"Wow, I'm nervous." She laughed. He laughed before speaking, "Yeah? Me too." She raised an eyebrow, "Yeah?" He nodded his head, "I have no idea what you're gonna say."

"Right." She nodded and cleared her throat, "Mason, I think I like you. Like like you, borderline love even." She rambled, picking at her cuticles. "And it's okay if you don't like me back, we can just stay friends."

She felt his hand grab hers, "No bullshit? You're not lying?" "No! I would never lie about something like this. I truly adore you." She laughed nervously. "Well I'm happy to say I feel the same. I gonna tell you earlier but, I chickened out."

She felt the weight of the world fall off her shoulders. "Can we please get out of here so I don't scream and disturb these lovely workers?"  Mason laughed and grabbed the food so they could go.

Once they got out the café, she gave him what was probably a bone crushing hug and left a kiss on his neck sweetly. (DONT B FCKIN WEIRD 😒😒).

Pulling away, both of them had the biggest smiles on their faces. She could feel his eyes drop from her eyes to her lips as he leaned closer slowly. She met his lips halfway as they kissed softly.

The kiss was not very long, but they didn't care. They finally were more than friends. It didn't matter if they spoke it out loud or not, they both knew.

They walked back to the hotel hand in hand with huge smiles and blushes on their faces. Leslie finally felt a feeling of peace in her feelings.
