"Just follow me," he spoke, his deep red eyes never left mine as he guided me back and forth along the ballroom floor. The music seemed to be drowned out, only the blond in front of me flooding my mind and desire. It felt like I was in a daze, this man clouding up my mind, consuming every ounce of my being. And he knew it. It felt like my body melted being pressed against his, as if we became one with a single touch. His warmth brough me comfort, as if his body left mine I would be stuck in a hard winter, with no expectation to surivive.

"Princess," he spoke, now he wasn't in front of you, but at the ballroom doors, his hand held out for you to grasp. Your heart was pounding, how did he get so far away in such little time? No, you can't leave. "Follow me," he whispered, the crowd of people couldn't hear nor see him. They were all dancing with their partners, in their own little worlds. Even my parents were molded to each other, not paying any mind to you. "Come on Princess," he reached his hand out farther, my body had no control over itsself, following him to the doors and out of the room. The only light was the candles that lit up the hall, and his red eyes that shined brighter than the moon.

You were nearly running trying to keep up with him, kicking off your shoes the sound of your feet smacking the concrete echoed down the halls. "Please, let me catch up," you yelled out, or at least you tried to. He was so far ahead, the longing urge to be in his arms again. He smirked, as if he knew her desire was growing stronger. But he did stop, holding his had out for her to grab. He pulled her close, glancing back with the smirk still on his face, "Come on, hurry," he whispered in her ear, guiding her towards her room. She didn't even realize that's where they were going until they got to the top of the stairs.  Once the door was open, you seen that the whole room dark, the only light was coming from the balcony, where the full moon shined in, allowing the room to glow white.

"Do you wish to run away with me?" He spoke, his forehead was pressed to mine, his nose brushed lightly against mine. His arms were wrapped aroungd my waist, holding me firmly against his body.

"Where would we go?"

'"Far away from here, where you too will have your own say. I will not control you, you could do whatever you please whenever. You will not be forced into marriage, nor to bear children. You will have the freedom that every woman would kill for."

Biting my inner cheek, the choice to stay would be idiotic. The sound of yelling was heard, it sounds like a whole army of people were running towards us.

"Princess, you need to make your mind up now." He was now on the balcony, hand held out for you to take. Without looking at the now opened door, you ran towards him, grabbing his hand tightly as he picked you up, running and diving off head first.

You jumped up, heart beating rapidly and out of breath as you looked aruound your room. You were freezing, looking at the open balcony doors. You could feel an unease in the pit of your stomach, you knew you locked the door before you fell asleep. Ever since the bat flew in your room, you never left the doors open.

"Oh good morning!" Lily nearly screamed when you heard the voice, looking around to find Hagrid, setting up your morning tea. "I'm sorry Lily, I didn't mean to scare you!"

"Did you open the doors?"

"Yes, it was hot in here. It felt like the devil dragged your room to hell." You just noticed that your skin felt sticky, your white night gown was nearly see through from the sweat.

"Thank you. I had such a weird dream." she stated, crawling out of bed you walked towards the balcony. Looking around, a single rose, red as fire on the ground. Picking it up, Lily looked back at Hagrid who looked at you confused.

"Did you hear me?"

"How did this get here?" Lily asked, lifting the rose up. Hagrid was at a loss for words, grabbing Lily's arm as she dragged her out of the room. "Where are we going?!"

"To tell the king, what else?!" she replied, "There's no way a rose could've gotten there. When I opened the door there was nothing." She couldn't tell if she was overreacting or not, the worry in her voice sent chills up her spine. The King was outside, saying goodbye to a guest from a close kingdom. Probably someone trying to make a deal with Lily's father for her hand in marriage. They've been at it non-stop since she turned sixteen.

"Sir," Hagrid spoke up, pulling Lily's wrist forward which held the rose. His eyes darkened, snatching the rose out of her hand. Lily gasped in pain, the thron slicing her finger as her father crushed the rose in his grasp.

"Go to your mothers room, now."

"What's going on?!"

"NOW LILY!" he yelled,  making his daughter jump in fear. He had to keep a stern face as he watched her eyes water, "Tell her what you've found." She nodded, running back inside. All Lily wanted to do was take a shower and lay back in bed, start this day all over again. But she knew it wasn't possible. Whatever is happening around the castle, its targeting her. And she knows she will be on lockdown until she's married off.

"Lily, what's wrong?"

'I-I found a rose on my balcony, Hagrid dragged me to father, then he yelled at me to come up here. I-I don't understand what's going on." she was breathless, "Please tell me what's wrong."

Her mother sighed, waving her over. "You're about to be eighteen, Lily. You're one of the most desirable people in the whole world right now. Anyone would take you for ransome, or to force you to bear their children to being a royal. Your father isn't mad at you, he's just afraid." It felt weird even having her mother speak to her, actually comforting her is something of a tall tale. Her mother wrapped her arms around Lily,

"Here, wear this. Your father will be putting more guards around your room, some even on the balcony. If you don't feel comfortable just have one of them come and get me, I'll sleep with you."

Lily nodded, burying her face in her mothers neck. "I'm so scared."

"We all are Lily," her mother pulled lily's hair to the side, the girl not even noticing a new mark branded on the back of her neck. Her mother started to silently cry, knowing she will go through the same thing she did.

Please spare my children, please.
