"Alright what do we need?" Peter asked as him, Sirius and James sat crouched behind a bush. You and Remus were best friends and every once in a while you would go out to a lagoon off of the black lake and watch the stars in a random wooden boat . Sirius smirked, "Percussion, Strings, Winds, Words" as he lifted his wand casting a spell for each, then one to amplify his voice. James chuckled as he watched you too look around in confusion. Sirius unleashed his hidden talent and began to sing.

"There you see her, Sitting there across the way"

Remus looked at you as you looked around to find were the noise was coming from.

"She don't got a lot to say, But there's something about her"

You then looked at Remus and giggled at him, it was true you didn't say a lot, unless it was with your friends.

"And you don't know why, But you're dying to try, You wanna kiss the girl"

Remus blushed under the star lit sky while you turned to look at the water.

"Yes, you want her. Look at her, you know you do"

His eyes peered into your soul as you shuffled a little closer to him.

"Possible she wants you too , There is one way to ask her"

Remus opened his mouth  to  say something,

"It don't take a word, Not a single word"

He closed it again furrowing his brows in confusion. You laughed as you watched him, he gave a nervous chuckle and blushed deep red color.

"Go on and kiss the girl"

You became flustered as you tried to think of something to say

"Sing with me now"

James and Peter gave a confused look to eachother

"Sha-la-la-la-la-la, My oh my"

Remus leaned to one side of the boat looking around spotting Sirius singing his heart and soul out.

"Look like the boy too shy,Ain't gonna kiss the girl"

He sighed shooting Sirius a glare in which he only returned a 'you can thank me later' smirk.

"Sha-la-la-la-la-la Ain't that sad? Ain't it a shame? Too bad, he gonna miss the girl"

James and Peter put their wands up to their throats aswell, they sang with Sirius on the 'Sha-la-la-la-la-la'. Remus ran his hand through his hair and looked back at you.

"Now's your moment (ya, ya, ya), Floating in a blue lagoon (ya, ya, ya)"

Sirius shot a confused look at the choice of James and Peter's  background vocals but continued none the less. You raised an eyebrow at Remus and smirked.

"Boy, you better do it soon, No time will be better (ya, ya, ya, ya, ya, ya)"

You giggled at him while you put your elbows on your knees and your chin in your hands, staring into his beautiful brown eyes that had the reflection of all the stars.

"She don't say a word, And she won't say a word, Until you kiss the girl"

You nodded at Remus, agreeing with the lyrics, he chuckled as he studied your face.

"Sha-la-la-la-la-la, Don't be scared (sha-la, sha-la-la ya, ya, ya)"

He moved closer to you, that's when you saw the blush on his cheeks.

"You got the mood prepared (woah, woah) Go on and kiss the girl"

James pointed his wand at the grass mumbling a spell, lightning bugs started flying around the boat .

"Sha-la-la-la-la-la, Don't stop now (sha-la, sha-la-la ya, ya, ya), Don't try to hide it how"

You looked around in amazement, stopping yourself from reaching out to touch them, then looking back at Remus.

"You want to kiss the girl (woah, woah) Sha-la-la-la-la-la"

Remus took your hands in his, squeezing them softly.

"Float along (sha-la, sha-la-la), And listen to the song"

You moved your hands so you could lace your fingers with his.

"The song say kiss the girl (woah, woah), Sha-la-la-la-la-la"

He rolled his eyes playfully and started to lean closer to your face.

"The music play (ya, ya, ya, ya, ya, ya), Do what the music say"

His eyes fluttered closed and you leaned in as well.

"You got to kiss the girl, You've got to kiss the girl"

You lips pressed against his and he grabbed your waist.

"Oh, don't you wanna kiss the girl, You've gotta kiss the girl"

The kiss broke apart when the boat leaned a little to far to the right, tipping over, you let out a yelp before you were both submerged in the water.

"Go on and kiss the gi- YOU IDIOTS!"

You came up to the surface and Remus followed after. Wrapping your arms around his neck you kissed him again.
