People are born with bracelets. The bracelets have charms that represent things that make their soulmate unique. When a person turns 16 they get their emotion jewel and their mark. The emotion jewel turns different colors based on what emotion their soulmate is feeling. The mark is their soulmate's initials, in their favorite color and handwriting.
A not so popular girl gets her jewel, and communicates with her soulmate via mind link. She finds out that he is the most popular boy in school. Captain of the football team, straight As, super hot, etc.
He finds out who she is, and it's about their love story.
