Arriving at the entrance at last, Bell handed the others a bag of money.
Bell: I'll take it from here for now. You three should start looking around for anything useful. Some kind of sign where demons were so we have something to go on. This city is huge and it'll be impossible for us to cover all of it even if we split up.
Tanjiro: Understood.
Bell: Remember, we're to meet up in front of the massive tower come evening.
All three: Yes, sir!
With that, they left and Bell went inside. The place was bustling with adventurers and some even gave him looks based on his outfit, though he ignored them. He got in line to one of the receptionists and waited. When it was finally his turn, he was greeted by a red haired werewolf woman. She introduced herself as Rose and asked Bell what he needed.
Bell: I'm here with others by request of the Guild. I ask for permission to speak with Lord Ouranos.
He handed her the envelope and she was shocked to see his seal on it.
Rose: I-It's genuine! Ahem, very well. I will call someone to escort you.
She left for a moment before a fat elf man, who introduced himself as Royman, came to bring Bell.
Royman: Follow me, sir.
Bell: Thank you.
With that, he left and everyone around him asked more questions.
Adventurer A: Who the heck was that guy?
Adventurer B: Never seen him before. No one gets to see the head of the Guild, not even the top Familias.
Adventurer C: That person must be important then.
Off to the side, a pair of girls also saw the whole exchange.
Lilia: Wow, he's going to see Lord Ouranos? Even Mom and Dad never got to do that. Only Grandpa and Grandma did and that's because they were gods. *Looks to Ais* Ais?
Her friend didn't listen to her. She was lost in her own world and staring at the area where Bell left. A shade of pink dusted her cheeks as she kept her gaze until Lilia snapped her out of it.
Lilia: Hello? *snapping her fingers* Orario to Ais?
Ais: Huh?! What?!
Lilia: Are you ok? You looked kind of out of it.
Ais: I-I'm fine. *Looking away*
Lilia: Hang on, that's where that guy went right? Why were you looking there? *eyes widen* No way, did you fall for him just from looking at him?!
Ais: *blushing* H-Hey! I didn't fall for him!
Lilia: You totally did! You never blush, Ais! Plus, you've always turned down any guy who's asked you out! Oh, Mom is gonna freak out when she hears!
Ais: Please stop!
Lilia: *giggle* Aw, fine~. Let's just hand these in.
The two went to see their advisor, a half-elf with brown hair and glasses.
Lilia: Miss Eina!
Eina: Lilia. Ais. What brings you here this time? *Smiling*
The white haired girl just smiled before handing the woman a pair of sheets. Eina immediately knew what these were and smiled.
Eina: *Clapping her hands* Congratulations, you two! I'll have these processed and posted soon!
Ais: Thank you.
