Chapter 2: The Assembly Begins

Shakti had received the thugs from her sister and Ryuu and was waiting for her backup to take them to custody.

Ardee: Got it. Be safe, sister.

Shakti: *Nods* You two as well.

Ryuu: Let's see if we can meet up with the others.

Ardee: Right.

Just as they were about to leave, they felt a sinister aura emanate from an alley near them. Wet foot steps grew louder until they saw a greatly deformed man staring at them, his teeth fully visible and resembling a monster.

Ardee: What is that?!

Ryuu: *Draws sword* I don't know, but I don't want to find out either.

Lower 2: RAAAAGH!!!

Ryuu: HAA!!!

Ardee: TEYAAA!!!

*Slash*

The two evaded it's initial strike and landed what appeared to be fatal wounds on its chest. Shakti heard the commotion and turned to the two. She was surprised to see them being attacked.

Shakti: What is this?

Ardee: Wish I knew.

The demon growled before Grinning as the women watched with shock as the two large gashes heal.

Ryuu: Regeneration? It's fast too!

Shakti: I'll handle it.

*Smash*

With great speed, she blew its head off with one blow. However, the body got back up as quickly as it hit the ground as the head grew back.

Lower 2: Hehe. Nice try.

Shakti: That's impossible.

Lower 2: Blood Demon Art-

*Slash*

Bell: ...

It had zero chance to try anything before Bell came and cut off its head. The head and body dropped to the ground with a thud before it slowly began disintegrating to ash. Bell then sheathed his sword before turning to the three who had questioning looks to say the least.

Bell: What?

Shakti: You killed that monster. Ahem. First, I think we should thank you for the help. That regeneration was going to be a problem sooner or later.

Bell: Just doing my job, Ma'am. You three shouldn't be out here on your own.

Ryuu: Excuse me?

Ardee: *Cutting in* No need to be offended. *To Bell* Thanks sir, but we can handle ourselves.

Bell: Even so, young ladies like you three shouldn't be out in this condition.

Ardee: *Snorts* Young for some of us...

She looked to her sister, who had a tick mark on her head, while Bell was confused. Seeing he wasn't going to get it, he brushed it aside.

Bell: Anyway, I'll be quick and say you may be able to fight, but killing demons will be impossible for you.

Ryuu: And why is that?

Bell: Because you have no way to use sunlight. My sword traps its power and using it to cut off their heads stops them from healing. Your weapons and magic won't be of any good in the long run.

Shakti: And what of you?

Bell: My companions and I will take care of them.

Ardee: AH!
