Chapter 13

*Talia's POV*

Cuddling in the swing which Adam put in between of two coconut tree. We were just staring at the starry night sky without the moon, though. Using his extended arm as a pillow and his other hand is in the back of his head, we both sigh and then chuckle together. "What is the bees that produce milk?" I frown and look up at him with a wide smile in my face. "What?" He chuckle first.

"Boob-bees." We both laugh in his silly little joke.

"Your joke is terrible." I said as I laugh even more. He shrug and face my direction, putting his hand in my hips and drawing circles on it. "I want to tell you something..." He said in a serious tone that's making me gulp. Oh my God! am I in trouble? Is he gonna dump me and say he loves Nath and I'm just a freaking exchange bride?

"When Nathalie's gone, I was so angry, frustrated, humiliated in front of both of our families. I felt so dump and when you agree on marrying me instead, my whole system sank in guilt.

I wanted to tell you to just run like hell away from the church but... I've got scared. My name and the reputation of our family is at sake and you willingly accept the offer even if it was unfair.

I know I'm a selfish person in that part as well as our families. But right now, being with you, getting to know you more and make love to you is making me realize that... in the end I was glad I didn't tell you to run."

I was just looking at him while he's speaking. The dim light from the porch is making me see him in the dark. "Adam..." I said almost a whisper. He smile and rub the back of his hand in my cheek.

"I was devastated and down but then you pulled me up." He snap his finger and chuckle. "Just like that." My vision is becoming blurry now with tears and I can feel his thumb brush the tear that escape from my eye.

"I'm saying I love you, baby." I sob and hug him. I really thought his gonna dump me after what I just realize what I feel towards him. "I love you too, happy butt." We both chuckles and I let go.

He wipe my tears away and kiss my forehead. "Thank you for being here with me, baby. I do believe that fate binds us together and everything was planned by destiny. You are my everything now, Talia. My baby, my love, my whole, my everything... my sunshine. You brought light into the darkest day of my life and pulled me with you."

I was smiling at him and I was so overwhelm in my heart and in my soul, my whole being. I felt so... complete. "Honestly, you really amaze me, smart-ass." I laugh at him and he just chuckle.

He looked at me and his face turn into serious again. "Don't ever leave me alone, baby. Promise me that." I cupped my hands in his face and kiss him in the lips. "That's a promise that sealed with a kiss."

Love really is weird, it can come to you in many different ways. And you didn't need a reason to fall in love with someone, either you realize it immediately or you take so long to recognize it.

As long as you are certain that you deeply love that person, no matter what happened or the consequences are... you will do anything just to be with each other.

After a few moments just staring at the sky, I yawn. I heard him chuckles and stand up. He scoop me up and carry me inside and to our bed. When he get into the bed, I bury myself in his chest and sigh in contentment. "Good night, baby." I humm and I feel he kiss the top of my head. I feel him massaging my slightly aching waist making me smile and a contend sigh escape my lips.

"Wake up, baby..." I groan and ignore him. I can feel his hand roam in my body until it push inside of my shirt, drawing circles in my stomach. I groan again but now, my eyes were finally open.

"Adam..!" He chuckles and continue to bugger me. "I'm awake, see? You happy butt." I pouted but then he just laugh. "Smart-ass." My pout extend more if it could and now he's laughing.

When he finally stop he looked at me with those grayish loving eyes of him. "I love you, baby. You know I'm just teasing." I smile and peck a kiss in his lips. "I love you too, Adam." We stop when I hear his rumbling stomach.

I laugh so hard this time while he just pout. Looks like the tables had turn. "Let's go downstairs." I kiss him again before walking out, leaving him to go to the bathroom first.

I was flipping the pancake when I feel his arms snake around my waist. I smile out of nowhere. He kiss the crook of my neck and my mouth betrays me by letting out a small moan. "Adam... our pancakes will burn." I smack his arm in my stomach and the jerk just laugh at me.

"So? what are we going to do today?" I asked him as I finish my last pancake and sipping my choco latte. He smirk. Damn that sexy smirk! It's making all the girls to drop their panties and throw themselves to him. Blah! I think I'm gonna throw up on that idea. "Make love all day." I spit my choco latte and look at him like he's an incredible human being. He laugh out hard with my reaction.

That's it! he's making fun on me again. This guy always love to tease me, tsk! tsk!

"Just kidding, baby. But a little." I smack his arm and chuckle. "Well, we could just cuddle all day. I love that idea." I chuckles and shook my head in disbelief. "Your crazy." He look at me with a smile. "'You' makes me crazy." I chuckles but it didn't hide the blushing of my cheeks. Damn you, Adam! your making me fall for you harder. "Ok... sounds fun." He smirk. "That's my girl."

He bend over and kiss me on the lips.
