Hello, my dear readers! Umbrella Academy is such a cool show with amazing characters, but I've got to say that Aidan Gallagher has my heart <3
He plays the infamous Five Hargreeves, who I think has a very contrasting personality to his, but Aidan does it so well that though Five is so mean (lol), most of us have come to dote on him.

You, the Reader (whichever gender you are), will be one of the Hargreeves siblings and later, Five's love interest after Dolores (Or is her name Delores like Netflix spells it? It's a proper noun so I guess it's fine), however, I am explicitly stating that the Hargreeves siblings are not related by blood, at least according to this story, so this is not incest. If all the children who were born on the same day were related then that would not bode well for Luther and Allison's past as well as Diego and Lila (who I think are kinda cute).

Most of the dialogues have been taken from the Umbrella Academy (TV) script from https://tvshowtranscripts.ourboard.org. I do not own any of these characters or scenes, except for my version of Eight Hargreeves, Marble and some supporting characters.
This story is partially inspired by "You Are My Shield | Five Hargreeves X Reader | Book 1" by kaixtsukino on Wattpad. I agree with the author that most fanfiction about Five makes him sweet a bit too quickly and I think Five would have a more slow burn romance and gradual character development. Especially after it took so many years for him to become this attached to Dolores. I think Five has a lot of room for character development but honestly, he should just become more like Aidan (no, I'm not fangirling... okay, maybe I am). But I plan to keep Dolores in the story because let's face it, we love Dolores. She is a fashionable mannequin with a sassy personality. Well, at least that's how Five sees her uwu
I plan to explore Five's experience in the apocalypse, his love story with Dolores, his relationship with his family and introduce new characters including a love interest for Five i.e. You, the Reader :)
I will try to create a healthy relationship between You (my sweet reader) and all the characters but if I don't succeed or the scenes don't suit your style, feel free to let your imagination swoop in. For example, you can choose whoever you'd like to look like adult Aidan/ Five.
As this story is meant for all audiences, I will be censoring or replacing any strong language. Otherwise, if there is any strong content in the story, I will let you know so it can be skipped.
This is my first draft of the story and once I'm done, I will come back to edit everything. I'm very open to feedback so please let me know in the comments or by chat how you're liking my story and what I can change. I promise to sincerely consider everyone's feedback.
