So, senior year. Exciting, right? Not really. I mean, yeah, sure, it's the last year of school when everyone's getting ready for more classwork, homework, studying for S.A.T.'s and then there's the fun things like shopping and getting ready for prom and homecoming, then graduation. But for right now, we'll just have to work our way to college.
"SIERRA!!" Screamed my best friend, Ashley. Long story short, we met in 1st grade when some guy in my class took my cookie (stupid, right?). Anyways, it turned out that he was Ashley's "boyfriend" and she broke up with him because he was mean. She came up to me and said, "Let's be friends," and that's our story.
"Woah," I gasped, "You need to NOT do that again!"
"Ok, ok," she breathed.
"Anyways, how are you?" I asked, "I haven't seen you all summer! How was Hawaii?" Btw, she's Hawaiian.
"It was amazing! The bugs are scary, but other than that, it was beautiful!" she exclaimed.
Let's get into detail about Ashley and I. First off, Ashely's Hawaiian, so she has the tan skin, beautiful black, long wavy hair and she's about 5'6" so she's tall. I, on the other hand, am Puerto Rican. I also have tan skin and I'm 5'7", but I have black-brown ombré (naturally), curly-wavy hair and a few freckles that run across my nose to both cheekbones. So, we aren't the friends that are like one is beautiful and the other makes the 1st one look 100x better. We actually compliment each other.
The bell rang shortly after we met up. Our lockers are right next to each other and we have the same classes together. What could go wrong?
