Y/n Pov:
Bradley and I have been dating for 5 months, but the only people who know is Phoenix, Hangman and Payback. But I'm sure the others have figured it out buy now. The only person who doesn't know is my dad or know as Pete "Maverick" Mitchell. Bradley has never been a huge fan of my father ever since he pulled his papers from the academy. Bradley have never gotten fully over it. I know my Dad was thinking the best for him but had no right to do that. So ever since he asked me out we kept it a secret, since my father would go nuts. So Bradley and I decided we would tell him when time is right.

At the bar

Walking in though the doors with Natasha. I see the dark brown eyes that I fell in love with. I can't help not the smile. Natasha notices "so when you gonna tell your dad" she says. "I don't know soon, I can't keeps this from him for much longer. I know Rooster kinda hates him. I just want everything to be perfect." I say frustrated while we both sit down at the bar. "Don't worry to much it's gonna be okay" she's says trying to comfort me. "At least we don't gotta hide in the bar i doubt my dad is gonna walk through those doors." I say laughing. We both order two beers. Natasha and I decided to go to the the others. I stand right beside Bradley. We both turn our head to look at one another and both smile. His arm goes around my waist rubbing my back. "Hey gorgeous" he says quiet not to make it to obvious. "Hello" I say smiling. "Wanna get out of here?" He says in my ear. I nod leading us out to the beach. We both head to the beach right behind the hard deck. Both of us taking off our shoes and rolling up our jeans. Sitting down whiles the waves crash. I can't help to stare at the beautiful beach with the sunset. While Bradley is staring at all of my features. "Bradley I know we agree to tell my dad when the time is right. But I think it's right I can't keep on lying to my father about us. I want my dad to know about the guy I have fallen in love with." I say seriously. Bradley gentle puts my strand of hair behind my ear, while brushing his fingers across my smooth cheek. "I know Y/n..." he says frustrated. He shakes his head. "He just can't pull my papers." Bradley says. "I know what he did. But he did it to protect you. Before your Mother had passed she made him promise that you wouldn't fly, since what had happened to Goose." I say. He looks in my eyes. "Then why has he never told me that if he cared so much." He says upset. "Because he never wanted you to turn on your mom and have you be angry at your mother." I say. He looks at the sand, his head hung low. It was quiet for a few minutes. Bradley trying to take in of what she just said. As I sit with the cool breeze going through my hair, and the waves crashing. "Y/n your right, I should apologize to Maverick and tell him the truth." He says nodding. I smile. The breeze makes me shiver, having my hands go over my arms. Bradley sits up to take off his sweater to put on me. "Thanks" I say while I blush. He stands up holding his hand out to pull me up. I accept his offer, he pulls me up and wraps his arm around my waist. I look at his beautiful eyes. We both lean in for a kiss. Before we kiss, we both hear "What the hell is going on" sounding angrily. Dad. Maverick. He both pull away from each other. "Y/n what's happening" Maverick says. I swallow my spit in my mouth. I don't know what to say. "Sir I'm in love with your daughter." Bradley says confident. Maverick eyes whiten. "And sir i don't care because you raised a amazing woman and I love her. Also I'm sorry for giving you a hard time. I wasn't thinking, Y/n turned my mind around and told me why you did it. I appreciate your concern." He says. "I don't know what to say. Y/n you could've told me. And Rooster I did it for you and your parents." Maverick says showing compassion. I smile. "I'm sorry Dad I should have told you but I was scared" I say. Maverick holds out his arms. I hold mine out we both hug it out. We both release from each other. My dad puts his one hand on Bradley shoulder " you hurt her I hurt you" he says serious. "Yes sir" Bradley says. "Dad!" I say "What I'm kidding" he says reassuring Bradley. The both laugh it off. "No but I'm serious hurt her and your dead" Maverick says serious. "Don't worry Sir" Bradley says catching up to Y/n walking. They both smile at each other. They all enjoyed there night.
