I woke up to the sweet scent of apples and mens Dior, Correction. I woke up to the scent of Draco... he was still in my bed, holding me close, like if he'd even let go the slightest bit I'd disappear, but I didn't mind... the only thing that was bugging me is I was smelling exactly what I smelt in potions all those weeks ago... both of us were still in our party clothes from last night, the party we skipped to lay here and talk about everything we've missed in the week we didn't speak... I was drawing soft shapes on his arm when he took a deep breath scaring me a bit, as I wasn't expecting it, making me hold in my breath. Christ I thought I wound up in someone else's bed... he softly kissed my head and started to play with my hair, but I didn't speak, I was honestly too scared to speak knowing he truly was the one I had smelt... he was right... but I couldn't fancy him, he was my best friend nothing more... Merlin you're beautiful, I'm so happy I have you back love... I was going crazy without you... what time is it- oh great we're gonna miss breakfast... hey time to wake up... y/n? Come on someone's gonna walk in and see us... He was rubbing my back softly while saying that in his normal soft tone he uses when it's only us, I began to "wake up" stretching a bit before looking at him. Sorry we must've fallen asleep... he laughed a bit before rubbing his eyes. Yeah I'd say, and in these clothes too, I'm surprised I was able to sleep in this, but surprisingly that was one of the best nights sleep I've had in a long time. I looked at him a bit confused before resting a bit. Me too... weird cause I hate being that close to you, ferret boy. He groaned. When are you going to stop calling me that. I smirked getting up from the bed. As soon as you stop being a perv. He laughed a bit. So never? I shrugged turning to face him. Guess so. He laughed just as a knock came from my door. Y/n? You up? The door opened and Blaise walked in, he was in his PJs still, just like he was every weekend when we went to breakfast together. Oh yeah, come on in. Merlin you two are too much alike. Draco almost looked offended. We are nothing alike. Blaise laughed a bit, but with disgust plastered on his face. Far from it. I rolled my eyes before grabbing sweats and a cropped shirt from my wardrobe. Why are you two still in your clothes? I didn't even see you at the party- wait. Did you guys- oh my merlin. No way. Draco groaned walking into the bathroom. No zabini we didn't screw. We fell asleep while catching up now why are you in here? Blaise hopped onto my bed as I crossed my arms. He comes in here every weekend morning to take me to breakfast. Most mornings you're with Pansy so you wouldn't know. Now get out of the bathroom asshole I need to change. He scoffed as I walked into the bathroom to push him out. Into pajamas? I crossed my arms again looking at him. Would you rather me wear this dress? Cause I'm sure everyone else would love it. Isn't that right zabini? Blaise nodded vigorously as Draco's face reddened with anger. No. I'm going to burn that dress and you aren't ever wearing anything like it again. I smiled pushing him the rest of the way into my dorm. Watch me. I slammed the door shut and began to change, I guess it wouldn't be too hard to ignore the fact I really did smell him...

 I heard them talking but I couldn't quite hear what was being said. You guys it's not nice to whisper so I can't hear youuuu. I heard a light chuckle before I opened the bathroom door and saw Draco standing there still looking mad about the dress. It's not nice to ease drop either but you were trying. I mocked him as he walked into the bathroom and started to brush his teeth. Wait for me I'll walk with you guys. His mouth was full of toothpaste making me roll my eyes. You're gross. Don't talk with your mouth full dumbass. He spat in the sink and looked at me. Don't tell me what to do brat. He walked into his room and I sat beside Blaise. So now it's just you and I. Did you two shag? I smacked his arm making him laugh. No we didn't shag Merlin. We just got distracted catching each other up is all, and I guess we both passed out. I shrugged when Draco walked back into my room, he had changed into his normal weekend outfit but he left his hair messy for once making me smile a bit, I always told him his hair looked good like that and he actually listens sometimes, usually after we fight which isn't very often I might add, but when we do it can get pretty bad... this last fight was a short one compared to usual. God did I really smell him... maybe it's cause he's my best friend that's all... you know It's not nice to stare Stoner. I flipped him off. I wasn't staring I zoned out thinking about something... he raised an eye brow as I stood up and began to walk out of my dorm, Blaise catching up to me and wrapping his arm around my shoulder. So I've got an idea on how to get her to like me back this year. I groaned and started to walk faster. Hey. Don't run just listennnnn. He ran up and stopped in front of me. I don't like her so why should I care about how you're going to magically make her fall for you. He rolled his eyes as we started to walk again. Okay so, I've noticed everytime me and you flirt she gets pissed soooo- Draco grabbed my wrist and pulled me away from Blaise. Nope not happening. I groaned. Draco you didn't even let him finish giving the idea. He just kept walking ignoring me until I pulled my hand away from his. Draco Merlin you can't control who I flirt with even if it is to piss someone off now will you quit it. He looked into my eyes, his face still red and he grabbed my wrist pulling me into the bathroom and locking the door. I can protect you though y/n. You're fragile when it comes to love and I don't want you getting hurt. I rolled my eyes and crossed my arms looking up at him. Admit you're a softy and maybe I'll tell him no. He narrowed his eyes at me and crossed his arms. Maybe? No I need a definite. I smirked a bit. Admit it first. He rolled his eyes. Fine, you make me soft for whatever fucking reason happy? Now tell him no. I got closer and whispered in his ear. Wasn't going to agree anyway just wanted to hear you say it for once love. I kissed his cheek and started to walk out of the bathroom. Oh and Draco? If you pull me away one more time just to yell, how about we do it somewhere else so no one can walk in just in case we take our clothes off k? I winked and walked out leaving his face red making me laugh as I sat down, I was right this was going to be easy. 

I sat down and began to eat. After a couple minutes of silence Blaise spoke up. Where'd you two disappear to? I shrugged as Draco sat down next to me. He needed to yell about something you know how he is. He smiled a bit as he leaned across the table. So my plan, me and you flirt to make her jealous sound good? I looked at Draco who was glaring at us both. Sorry but I'm not helping Pansy get someone who she doesn't deserve Blaise. I adore you, you're a great guy, but no. How bout we flirt for each other huh? Draco grabbed an apple off the table and took a bite before he handed it to me. How about no flirting at all, you want Parkinson you flirt with her, y/n deserves someone to flirt with her cause they like her. Now piss off. Blaise laughed putting his hand up in defense making me groan. I can handle turning guys down myself malfoy. He rolled his eyes as I bit into the apple before mumbling. Didn't seem like it to me. I kicked him under the table only to have him grab my thigh. I've said stop kicking me. Christ do you ever listen? I laughed before pushing his hand from my leg. To you? No. I only listen in bed love. I winked and kissed his cheek before continuing a conversation with Blaise, Draco chiming in here and there like usual but not saying much the whole meal, me, Draco, Blaise, and the two goons all hung out, Draco somehow got in a tree, and messed with people who passed by but after a while I said I was going to take a nap, as I was bored and honestly I've had enough social interaction today, I made my way to my dorm and when I opened the door it was a mess. Merlin I've gotta stop letting Draco come in here... I started to clean everything up, most of it being Draco's shirts I've taken or his jumpers so I took them into his dorm, sitting them on his bed when I saw a stack of books beside his bed, most of them were ones he had taken from me trying to see what I liked reading but one of them had no words on the cover, it was a black book, looked pretty old but it was pretty, I opened it and saw Draco's writing on every page... I shouldn't... the voice in my head telling me to read it but I can't... maybe a small page won't hurt? I flipped through until I got to the last page he had written in. The first day of school was the last time he had written... huh.

"Christ this girl. She's got a mouth on her that's for sure, and she knows how to put people in their place, hearing her snap Back at guys when they fuck with her makes me feel amazing cause Even if she doesn't know, they get it worse when I talk to them. she thinks she's doing something and it's her keeping them away from her. God she drives me crazy, her fruity smells are always stuck in my nose and the bad thing is I don't mind it... I shouldn't feel like this about her... but she has me to the point where I don't need drugs, she is my drug, she's an addiction just waiting to happen and I want it so bad... I took one of her hair scrunchies so I can always smell her, and when she gives me my hoodies back I wait for her scent to fade before washing it cause just smelling her calms me down... her scent is almost as good as the real thing... the only thing I will ever regret is befriending her and not screw-"  

I slammed the journal shut freaked out with myself that I just read half a page from his journal, and kinda hurt he fancied someone... why wouldn't he tell me? Whatever. I folded his clothes and walked back to my dorm before lighting my candle and laying down. But I couldn't relax cause all I could think about was Who the fuck did he fancy.
