Paintbrush POV

I laid in bed and stared at the pale ceiling in boredom. Dinner already past and I pretty much had nothing to do. I didn't feel the motivation to sketch anything, So staring at the ceiling would do. Honestly, everyday felt somewhat like a loop. Eat, talk, maybe draw, eat again, talk, draw, eat once more, talk, maybe draw, sleep. It was that same loop everyday, though eventful things did happen once in a wh-

My thoughts were interrupted by a door slamming open. Did I seriously forget to lock the door? "Hey Flat-face and Painty!" Oh. It's Lightbulb. I decided to sit up on my bed and listen.

"Lightbulb? What are you doing here?" "I have a special announcement, That's why I'm here!" Lightbulb said, flashing a pose and started speaking. "I've decided... That we would go somewhere! Since everything is pretty boring here after all.." Lightbulb muttered the end of that sentence, but I could barely hear it. "But where?" I raised an eyebrow. "Caving! Simple. We could go walk around in the cave we used for a challenge, remember? I've wanted to explore that since that episode but I got a little distracted." Fan cringed a little when Lightbulb mentioned the cave.

"We can go, but is Test Tube coming along with us?" Fan asked. "Yup! I already asked her before coming here," Lightbulb said. "Go get your things, i'll be waitinggggggggggg!" Before we could say anything, she ran off.

I stood up and sighed. "Are we seriously going? I mean I get that it is a little boring here, but I'm having some doubts." "I know I'm not the type to go out, but I don't feel like turning down Lightbulb right now.. You know how she is." Fan scratched the back of his head (???) and shut down his computer, placing it on the side desk.

"Alright then," I said, picking up some stuff and putting it in a bag. "I feel like Lightbulb will want us to stay in that cave for like a couple of days, so...."

I heard my phone chime with a new notification, as well as hearing Fan's phone. I walk over to my phone to see a message from the group chat.

TheBrightestBulb: When are y'all ready??? I'm waiting out here!!

ScienceRules: Just give me a moment! Also, did you even get permission from OJ?

TheBrightestBulb: NOPE!

Painttillyoudie: lightbulb, why..

TheBrightestBulb: It's what I do! Anyways, hurry up! It's COOLDD out here!! >:(

Painttillyoudie: fan and I will be there in a second.

I closed the group chat and grabbed my backpack. I was packing while texting, the ability to multitask really does help. "C'mon Fan, Let's not keep her waiting." I said with a slight smile on my face. Fan nodded and picked up his backpack and we went.

3rd Person

Orange clouds slowly flew by as a figure exited the Hotel with a small smile on their face, almost immediately catching the attention of the bulb. "Hey Tube!!" Lightbulb ran, tackling her to the ground and into a hug. "Ah! Hi Lightbu- Ow! You're squishing me!" Test Tube squirmed in Lightbulbs hold, eventually making her let go.

Lightbulb got up, extending a hand to help Test Tube up, who took it. "I never thought of you to be this strong, Lightbulb.." Test Tube scratched her head, smiling.

The doors to Hotel Oj opened, catching the attention of Test Tube and Lightbulb. They turned their heads, revealing Paintbrush and Fan. "Ay!! Paper and Painty!!" Paintbrush did a simple hand wave, while Fan looked to the side, mumbling "That's still not my name..." Fan sighed, turning back his attention to Lightbulb. "Anyways!!! Y'all ready? Cuz I definitely am!" Lightbulb's eyes sparkle, turning around and walking in the direction of the cave.

"We have no choice other than to follow her.. Come on guys." Paintbrush sighed, speed walking towards Lightbulb. Fan and Test Tube followed behind, chatting with each other. "Lightbulb, do you even know where we're going?" Paintbrush catches up to her, panting a little. "Not really! But it's fine, we'll find our way!" Lightbulb turns around (while walking), smiling at Paintbrush until she bumps into something.

"Owww, What the.." Lightbulb rubs her head, glad that she didn't get cracked from that. "What even was that..?" Lightbulb peeks from the side of the thing she bumped into, ecstatic upon realizing that it was the cave they we're trying to find. "Hey it's the cave! Told you we would find the way!" Lightbulb jumped in excitement, running into the cave.

"Lightbulb!!" Paintbrush shouts, running after her.

Test Tube and Fan look at each other, shrugging and went to catch up with the two.
