Today I woke up in a great mood. I got up earlier than my alarm so I turned it off and got ready for school. I brushed my teeth, ate a hearty breakfast, got dressed for school, and did my hair in the style I typically used. I grabbed my keys from the small basket that was seated near my front door. I opened my front door to see one of my friends standing there. I stepped out and closed the door behind me, locking it in the process.
"Sa-chan? What are you doing here so early?" I asked him.
"Y/n-chann!~," He said engulfing me in a hug he soon stopped. "I hope I didn't wake you up," He made a pouting face, "I wanted to introduce you to some of my friends!" he said a bit loud.
"What friends?" I said with a giggle as I stepped of my front porch and continued to walk on the sidewalk.
"MEAN!" he scoffed at my comment and then soon followed me. "It's the volleyball team if you must know!"
"The volleyball team!?" I exclaimed while looking at him.
"Yep," he said popping the "p" with a smirk on his face. "Anyone caught your eye?~," he said with his smirk fading into a mischievous grin.
"No the opposite! There is somebody that literally despises me there!" I said with worry.
"Woahwoah, wait who?" he said while motioning his hands in front of him.
"Ken-chan!" I continued. Tendou looked at me confused.
"Shirabu? He's my mean and brutal cousin." I said with a monotone voice.
"He's your cousin?!" he said loudly.
"Yes, sadly. I don't even get how I'm related to him sometimes," I shook my head in disappointment.
"Don't worry Y/n-chan! I'll protect you from awkward bangs!" he said and I laughed at his response.
"If you "protect me", I guess I'll meet the rest of the volleyball team." I said while air quoting 'protect me' with a sigh.
"Yeah!" Tendou exclaimed while punching his hands in the air.

"WE HAVE ARRIVED!" Tendou exclaimed as he busted the gym doors open.
