Reincarnated as nightmare sans from Dreamtale

hey guys! sorry for not updating in a while I have been, quite frankly extremely exhausted mentally for no apparent reason. don't worry though things should start to calm down now and if they don't I'll be sure to let you all know. anyways enough of me ranting I hope you like this chapter!

its been a good two or three hours ever since dinner ended and moon is definitely asleep now but like most night owls I'm wide awake and its for one reason and one reason only....I forgot to pick the au we will be living in . . . 

I can't believe I thought of myself as a functioning adult! I mean I have been mulling over how to break the news of us moving in two days when I haven't even bought a house!!!!! what am I going to do?????????????

ugh!

moon is going to think I'm such a moron and regret ever wanting me to be there mother and its all my fault! should I just tell them that I wasn't thinking properly and we will have to move the day we will be moving a bit further? no! then they will lose all trust in me! ugh what should I do?

I KNOW!! I'll just make a list of the aus I know will be a perfect place to live ask moon some questions on the place they would think their ideal home would be and pick based on there description.  

*deep breath in deep breath out

it's ok I can do this. alright good aus I can think of at the top of my head are farmtale, fluffytale, underswap, or and alternate version of the original but one where frisk is well liked. this is all I can come up with as of now but they should be fine. hmmm well I can find any of these aus on the surface like when underswap or the au of the original break the barrier or how fluffytale and farmtale were both originally on the surface either way moon and me being on the surface isn't much of a problem though going to an au that looks exactly like the one we live in now might be a little underwhelming for moon who is expecting to see at least some differences. hmmmmmm. 

well I don't know much about farmtale other than the fact the sans has a farm far away from civilization and away from friends and family and its almost the same for fluffytale the only thing I know is that somewhere in the city the sans owns a cat cafe.....maybe fluffytale would be better. I mean living in the city doesn't sound too bad hmmm. 

I'll ask moon if they prefer living around more people or less and decide from there. 

next day! 

I started breakfast with the intent to get something out of my kid so I thought French toast would be perfect! when I was almost done with the fourth piece I put two on one plate and the other two on the other plate. I got a fork a knife and put the plates in-between them on the table once that was done it was time to start the 'interrogation'. 

"moon! breakfast is ready come downstairs!" I called. within two point five seconds I already heard shuffling and rushed footsteps being made in there room. this made me smile a small smile at how cute they were bring I only made two pieces of French toast so I wonder if they will be a bit disappointed? no matter they can just have mine if that is the case. 

"I'm here mom! I'm coming! gimme a sec!" they screamed back and then not a moment later I saw them rushing down the stairs. 

"no need to rush moon breakfast isn't going to run away though I have something I would like to ask if thats alright with you?" I asked. 

"...sure?" they replied after sitting down and looking at there breakfast hungrily. they were clearly confused. 

"well...how do I say this with tact? um would you prefer living somewhere with more or less people?" I asked with slight hesitation. It wasn't as subtly brought up as I would have liked but what can you do anxiety is a bitch. 

"...I guess (insert your answer here!)" 

ok peeps time for a very important question that may or may not change the future of the story depending on what you chose.
