1: New neighbors

Alexis's POV
Apollo and i are over at house getting ready to go over to meet the people who just moved into celia's rental.
"Im so siked to meet the new neighbors!" hartley exclaimed happily.
"I dont know im not too keen on meeting new people im just here to make sure they're not up to anything." I said not sure why someone would move here of all places. The only reason we moved here is becuase we all needed a fresh start after my mom died.
"Come on lex you need to at least give them a chance." My brother said sounding as hopeful as he always is.
"Yeah you cant judge someone when you havent even met them." Hartley said happily.
"Ok time to go" hartley's grandmother celia said.

Once we got to the house celia rang the door bell but no one answered.  I heard someone say "act natural" i knew there was something there was something off about them. Celia rang the door bell agian and finally someone answers the door. "Oh look everyone its our landlady  Celia and her granddaughter Hartley," a woman who I'm guessing is the mum said as she opened the door.
"Hi landlady Celia and her granddaughter Hartley" they all said  somewhat robotically. See told you, weird. "And two random people we've never met before," the girl who looked about my age said confused. "Oh sorry I'm Apollo and this is my twin sister alexis. We live across the street so we came with Hartley to say hi" Apollo said as i gave them a bitter wave.
"Your first months rent is a ten bucks short" Celia said bitterly.
"Oh sorry about that can you break a twenty" the man who im guessing is the dad said.
"Nope" Celia said rudely.
"You look very familiar" Hartley said walking up to amy.
"Yeah do in know from somewhere" i added.
"No i don't think so" she said nervously.
"Well we were just about to start our family movie night" the mom said obviously trying to get us out of the house. "Oh what are we watching love a good war movie" celia said sitting down on the couch. "Uh on second thought we really should get some rest. Were still adjusting to the time differnce here in texas" the dad said still trying to gwt us out of the house. "Remind me were your from again." Celia said forgetting were they moved from. "Talahasse, Delaware, Taiwan, Boston" they all blurted out at once. We all gave them a weird look. Why did they all say different things. What are they hiding?
"We dont really stay in the same place very long" explaining why they all said different things. "Well thats a red flag. I'll take next months rent too" Celia said holding out her hand. You "are gonna love texas," Hartley said jumping up from the couch, "everyone here is super friendly."
"Yeah i can tell" mr madden said handing Celia the cash.
"what Brought you here anyway?" i asked bitterly. "Oh you know just needed a change" the girl replied.

"Well we have to get together another night thank you for coming" mrs madden said as we were walking out the door.

"Were home!!" Apollo yelled as we walked in the door. "Hey kiddos" my dad
Said from the kitchen. " how are the new neighbors?"
"Suspicious" I replied bluntly. "No they were suspicious their just adjusting" apollo said trying to make up for why they were acting so weird. "Whatever i'm going to bed, night" i said walking upstairs to my bedroom.
"Night!" My dad and brother called back.
