Reba found her oldest reading a book and knew that she had to tell her that it's time for her to meet Van. "Carlee?" The blonde looked up. "I think its time for me to meet Van."

"Really?" Reba nodded. "Thank you, mom. Your acceptance is what counts."

Reba watched Carlee run to call Van. The redhead sat down as she knew that she would have to tell her children that her and Brock are divorcing. First, she will focus on their relationship. Like meeting Van. For Carlee's sake.

"You want me to do what?"

"Meet my mom." She says. "You know daddy, but you haven't really met mom."

"Her approval means more to Carlee than dad's." Cheyenne tells him and Steven. "Carlee will always be the mommy's girl."

"Shut up. This is serious, Cheyenne, I never dated before and knowing mom wants to meet my first boyfriend because we have been dating for a few months..."

"Breathe." Van says. "I will act like myself around your mom."

"Promise?"

"I promise."

Carlee stood with her mom as this was the first time that this ever happened. She wasn't really ready, but she could tell that her mom meeting Van was a distraction. They heard the doorbell ring causing Carlee to sigh. "Mom, please don't give him a hard time."

"I won't."

Carlee went to the door and opened it. Van kissed her as he showed her flowers. "Oh, Van."

"For you, baby and these..." Van went to Reba and handed her some to. "Are for Mrs. H."

Carlee looked at her mom smiling. "Isn't he the sweetest?"

"Thank you, Van."

So far so good. Carlee says as she walked over to the couch with Van. She watched her mom talk to Van. She smiled as so far, her mom was approving Van till she heard this. "Don't hurt my baby girl."

"I wouldn't dream of it." Van says grabbing Carlee's hand making her smile.

Reba nodded as she kissed her daughter's head when her father walked in. "Van, let's talk about football."

Carlee shook her head as he went to talk to her dad. She looked at her mom smiling. "Thank you for accepting him."

"He makes you happy and I can tell he loves you." Reba says. "Just try to be careful."

"I will."
