When morning came, Carlee was in the bathroom throwing up with Van holding her hair. She looked at him. "I'm hungry.' She tells him as she walked out of the room. Cheyenne looked at her. "You too."

She nodded causing them to go downstairs, but the difference is that Stephen couldn't be near Cheyenne without hearing her say stop breathing on me. Van put his arms around her and helped Carlee to the table. "Are you okay?"

"I'll be fine."

"Mommy, I don't feel good." Cheyenne says.

Reba checked Cheyenne's head then her stomach. "Yep, you're pregnant."

"How come Carlee isn't having it rough."

"Because I'm a few weeks further along than she is." She says. "Morning sickness is something that happens throughout the pregnancy."

"It's not just the morning, it's all night long."

Carlee looked at Stephen and wondered what had her sister falling in love with this man. When a plate of food was handed to Van and Stephen, Carlee ran out first causing Van to stop and run after her. When Cheyenne left, Reba looked at Stephen. "Your wife needs you."

"But she's mean."

Reba gave him a look causing him to leave. "Leave the food."

Stephen did just that causing her to look at Jake and Kira. "How did Carlee get lucky?"

"Because she accepts him for him and isn't controlling." Kira responds. "Plus, he took up with being a husband to Carlee and father to the baby, so he knows what he has to do."

Reba smiled that at least Carlee had someone who is doing everything he can for her daughter and grandchild.

Carlee heard her sister complaining about being sick, but she will do what she needs to do. Grabbing her book, she sat in the kitchen working as she heard her mom and Cheyenne. She doesn't understand why her sister isn't catching on to what pregnancy does. Carlee may be further along, but she knows somethings as she has a class that is helping her and Van.

She heard her Cheyenne complaining about what she was read and knew. "Oh boy." She mumbled. "Cheyenne is getting judged." Carlee walked to the living room and leaned against the door. "You really need to learn more before getting pregnant."

"How are you not freaked out by all this?"

"I accepted what my body will go through. Plus I'm in this class. Van is helping me too. I just hope he isn't too tired."

Reba walked over to her. "I don't think he is. He has taken a lot of responsibility as a father and husband should. You know that morning sickness will eventually go away."

Carlee nodded as she went back in to the kitchen to finish her homework.

Later that day, Carlee was looking at books for babies as she was looking for cribs. She heard the door open causing her to hear Stephen and Van. "Baby, I'm home."

"In here keeping my distance from Cheyenne." She says. "Looking at cribs."

"Ohhh." Reba says as she walked over to her. "I want to help."

Van walked in with things that Carlee has been buying. "I got more Ginger Ale and crackers."

"Van..."

"I don't like it when my baby is sick."

"You are the best, Van." She says kissing him. "Will you help me?"

"Sure."

Van started helping her, even though he didn't understand her work, but he was going to learn. Reba looked at them with Cheyenne who smiled. "She really has the perfect husband."

"Of course she does."

For some odd reason, Cheyenne had begged her sister to go to their father's house. Carlee was sitting with her face buried in her sister's shoulder. "I hate the smell of food."

"I know the feeling." Cheyenne says. "Thanks for coming."

Barbra Jean looked at the sisters causing her to come up with an idea. "Carlee. Cheyenne, why don't you two come into the kitchen and look at my Texas ice tray."

Carlee smiled. "Dad, I need the bathroom." She says. "I'm not going to lie. I'm having morning sickness and I'm not going to hide it from my husband." She stood up. "Van, I'll be right back."

Brock watched his oldest go to the bathroom. Van knew and ran after her causing Brock to smile. "At least she's honest."

Stephen looked at his wife as she walked into the kitchen with her step mom. Carlee looked at Van and rested her head on his chest. "Want to wait for a bit?"

"Yeah. I just need a break from all that food." She says. "But, I'm having a good time with you despite the morning sickness."

Van smiled. "Team Montgomery..."

"Going strong." She says. "Are you happy?"

"Of course I am." Van tells her as he stood her up. "You have no idea how happy I am to be with you. Tonight, has been wonderful and I know that you can't help it. But once you are further along, you may not feeling this."

"You remember." She says as she kissed him. "Let me tell dad bye. I'm wanting to go home and cuddle up to you."

Van smiled as they walked out of the bathroom. Brock smiled as he hugged his eldest. His little girl was happy and in love. She was going to be a wonderful mother.
