I was waiting for her to tell me who the boy she picked was. but instead, she said nothing. "who is he?" I said waiting for an answer. you might be able to guess it but I'm impatient at times. "from what I know his name is Noah, he is 18 but only older by 4 months, he has a child, and he's a very sweet boy." then she added, "you will meet him at dinner tomorrow, his family will accompany him." I try not to be disrespectful but I do end up rolling my eyes.
my mother knows that I hate meeting new people, but it was bound to happen. every time someone in the family is meeting someone new. it's always over dinner. which I don't entirely hate cause I can use the excuse that I'm eating so I don't have to talk to people.
A few minutes of dinner go by until I say. "my I be dismissed from dinner. I have some homework to do and I want to be able to hang out with kate while she is here" "ofc you can my darling" my mother replied. so I get upstairs and go into my room and change into comfy clothes before I start my homework.

Noah's POV:
hey, I'm Noah, prince Noah from the Philippines to be exact. I guess I'm supposed to introduce myself, so you already know my name. I'm 18, I'm a single teen dad of the most amazing 1-and-a-half-year-old to ever exist, and I guess you could call me a bookworm. right now I'm reading 1984 by George Orwell but my favorite book is to kill a mockingbird by harper lee. it's so good it's about-. my thought gets cut off once my toddler says "dada uppie"
that's my baby girl Payson telling me she wants me to pick her up. I don't mind so I pick her up
"hey, stinky butt" Noah says while picking up his daughter, Payson.
"Hey, I do have a stinky butt," Payson says giving Noah a sad face. "see" she attempts to put her butt in Noah's face so he could smell it. before Noah holds her butt down.
"dada doesn't want to smell your butt, it's stinky," Noah says holding in a laugh.
"ME BUTT SMEWL WIKE FWOWERS" if you didn't know that translates to 'my butt smells like flowers' which wasn't i true statement. the home girl needed a diaper change desperately. "I love you but you smell far from the smell of flowers" I giggle at the fact that she yelled. but I did forget that my father was in a meeting with some important people. so as soon as I remember I tell Payson "grampie is in a meeting so no more yelling" "otay dada" she said in her sweet voice.
anyways my parents said that has to tell me something at dinner do I have to get ready for that? so I walk to my closet and chose an outfit. normals I wouldn't put effort into a dinner outfit but I have a photoshoot after dinner. so I put on something presentable even tho I would most likely change it when I got there. I also change Payson because she was coming with me even though she is supposed to be in this photo shoot. I still take her. so I choose both of our fits then we change and go downstairs for dinner.
