When Melody went to knock on Masons door, it flung open immediately. Someone grabbed her by the shirt and pulled her into the house so fast she couldn't even figure out who it was. Melody was still processing what had happened by the time the front door had shut. "Finally you're here!" Mason said. "Yeah, took you long enough," Grace saod, rolling her eyes. Mason was tall, like really tall. He was also black black. He had overly long locs that went all the way down to his waist when he was standing. Today he was wearing black sweatpants, an orange collage T-shirt, and a black hoodie. Grace, even though she was Mason's sister, looked very different. She had asian eyes and tan skin. She had brown eyes and a gap between her front teeth, just like Melody. She was wearing a muted pink turtleneck and a light blue skirt. "Grace your outfits terrible, anyway where's Miles?"  asked Melody. Grace wasn't caught off gaurd by Mel's comment. That's just what its like to be friemds with a 10 year old with pent up anger that honestly should be going to therapy by now. "Miles has been struggling with binder for like 5 minutes now. Honestly he's lucky school doesnt start for another thirty minutes," Mason groaned. As if Miles had actually heard him, he strutted into the room, wearing a way too big T-shirt and jeans. "So anyway😁 Are we ready to go?" Miles said casually. Melody could tell the everyone was staring at Miles, because he started slouching as if he wanted to duck out of view. "Guys stop staring at him, he's gonna actually sink into the ground if you don't," Melody said. Grace directed her attention to glaring at Melody, which honestly wasn't much better. Mason checked his watch and stood up, "Cmon, I can drive you girls to school before it starts if we leave now," he said heading towards the door.
