𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐩𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝟐.𝟏. 𝐋𝐲𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐓𝐫𝐢𝐜𝐤𝐬.

After fighting my urges to beat Ryota up, I returned to my room. it's already nighttime..? I should head to bed... Thanks to the waves, I felt the vibrations shaking the Monocuise little by little. I threw my tired body onto the bed, and fell asleep.. During my sleep, I felt a large shake. What the hell was that!? A large roar and jolting from the Monocruise quickly shook me into full consciousness. I don't think the morning announcement's gone off yet... What just happened..?

*ding bong* "It is now 7:00AM. Rise and shine! I hope you have a comfortable and enriching day as well. Ah, and to explain the sudden shaking that has just woken a select few of you, I as that you remain calm. Take note that the Monocruise has now anchored at the *second island* The disruption you may have heard or felt were nothing more than a testament to that. Even though you've all just woke up... I humbly request that you all gather in the first floor auditorium as soon as possible for a bit of light orientation." Monocrow says.

Ah, so we've finally made it to the second island then. But to gather everyone immediately after waking up... What a rigid sparrow.. I fixed my messy hair, and left my room, and gathered up with everyone at the auditorium. 
"Hm, I see that you're here. Did you perhaps sleep well?" Monocrow said.
"How does he expect us to sleep soundly in circumstances like this..?" Asuka says.
"That aside, it's been a while, Ryota. Did he get bored of ruining our every chance to eat breakfast?" Kazuko asked.
"It's just that you seem to have decided to add Reiki to your party. And that I am not. I am not welcomed. ( ≧Д≦) It's quite a shame, seeing as I simply cannot manage to get along with him, fufu.... As of now I am working diligently to prepare your meals while making my presence a scarcity." Ryota says.
"Are you picking a fight with me again..? It's not like I like being around you either!" Reiki said.
"More importantly, what's this? Kazuko, could it be that you've finally started to miss me?! You should have spoken up sooner! I was beginning to lose all hope... No one has even tried to talk to me for the entire trip thus far, other than Hikaru, but she was just being a bitch to me! Leaving me ever so lonely. If you've really all missed me that much... Could I perhaps make an appearance as the next breakfast?!" Ryota exclaims.
"No, you're doing great as it is. Just continue to leave us the hell alone." Kazuko replies.
"Now, now, quiet, quiet! After all, I've called you here for more then idle chit-chat. Firstly, as I noted earlier, the Monocruise has touch down upon its destination. At the end of a two day trip, we stand at the white-beached bay of the second island." Monocrow tells us.

"The second island differs greatly from the first. For centuries it's been famous for being haunted by a variety of monsters and ghosts." Monocrow tells us.
"M-monsters!? Ghosts!?" Karou yelled terrified.
"For that reason, the island bears a shrine meant to calm the wicked creatures it possesses, and a museum housing the ecology of the various beasts home to it. I asked that you proceed with caution, and try your best not to get "cursed". Kuku..." Monocrow says.
"Stop lying! You're telling me to believe that monsters and curses actually exist!? You think I'm stupid enough to believe that?" Haru said.
"I mean.... Taking Ryota's magic into consideration, something like a curse doesn't sound too far-fetched." Ayame said.
"..So?" Aika asking pointing her finger to her head, as if it was gun.
"What? What do you mean, "so"?" Monocrow asked.
"I'm asking why you made us gather here. I don't give some ghost or beast." Aika replied holding the straps on her skirt.
"The reason.... I'm to explain the rich history of this island. It is to be expected of my position as your loyal field trip guidance teacher. Who else but me could play the role of travel guide?" Monocrow says.

"....Then, since we've arrived at the island, we can begin the investigation, right? I'll be taking my leave now." Sora sighed while leaving the Monocruise with his hands in his pockets.
"Eeeh!? Sora! I still haven't told you about the island's diverse history and culture, so, where are y- Aika, not you too!!" Monocrow shouts at them.
"....Hmph. Let's go, Taiko.." Haru says looking at Taiko.
"But, Haru... Don't you think we're better off investigating with everyone else..?" Taiko said while making quick glances at everyone.
"What's the holdup?! C'mon Taiko! Let's go, you don't want to be stuck with these losers, do you?! And don't talk back to me!" Haru yells at Taiko about to exit the auditorium.
"S-s-sorry, Haru! I-I'm coming.. I won't talk back! I apologize..!" Taiko said following Haru.. I couldn't help, but feel bad for Taiko.
