Never Giving Up On You- A Hosie Story

Are you ready?

It's been a month since Josie's and Hope's anniversary. Their time in the Salvatore school was over. They got to move to their house and now they were living happily together. One morning, they were laying on the bed...

"Josie?"
"Yes?"
"I am gonna be, gone for like a week"
"What? Where? Can't i come with"
"I can't tell you right now and you can't come with"
"Why not?"
"Because, it might be dangerous."

Josie imedietly backed off
"Hope, are you serious?"
"It's for, good. But please trust me."
"I do trust you but, Hope. What if something happens to you"
"I guarantee you i will be fine, but. If i am not in here within two weeks go to New Orleans and talk to Rebekah."
"When do you have to leave?"
"Like, right now?"
"Gosh, Hope why didn't you tell me?"
"You would try to change my mind and this is beyond important."

Hope got up. She and Josie drove to the train station. When the train came, Josie imedietly hugged Hope.

"Be careful Hope"
"Jo, just- remember i love you"

Hope said as she backed off. She got into the train.

It's been a whole week. Hope didn't come back. Josie was worried she drove all the way to New Orleans and found Rebekah. They took a walk to the town.

"Josie, if i am not mistaken"
"Yes."
"Good. You wanted to see me?"
"Hope, she left a week go to go somewhere, she wouldn't let me go, said it was too dangerous but also told to come here, talk to you if she doesn't come back within a week."
"She already got there? She's fast"
"Where? Please tell me i am worried"

Rebekah stopped walking, Josie stood in front of her.

"Remember when you and Hope came for the wedding?"
"Yeah, trust me i do"
"Well, she asked me- about the cure?"
"A cure? To what?"
"Vampirism"
"What?"
"Yeah. See she was so happy with you and definitely didn't want you to age and for her to stay. I told her that it's gonna take a lot of time and that you don't have that much of a time. But, a couple weeks ago. I found something, a new cure. See, the first one was a like a myth, but there are actually signs."
"Wait, so Hope went to find a cure to-"
"Yes. But, the journey. It's dangerous. That's why she didn't want to take you with her."
"Oh god, i need to find her. Like today, like right now. Tell me you got leads with you"
"I do, but you need to be careful."
"I will. Just tell me"

Rebekah nooded. She gave Josie the leads and explained her the way. On the morning of the next day, Josie got the island where the cure was. When she got there, she walked in some woods. She saw Hope on the ground, bleeding. She ran to her, there was a stake in her heart, thankfully it wasn't oak. She pulled it out and carried her out of the woods. Josie put her on the ground, at the beach. Josie sat next to her waiting for her. Hope woke up.

"Josie?"
"Hope thank god"

Josie said as she fell into Hope's amrs. Hope put her one arm around Josie. She was suprised. Hope backed off.

"Jo? What, what are you doing here?"
"Me? What are you doing here? You scared me. I thought you-"
"Hey, hey. I am okay and i found this-"

Hope said. She took something out of her packet and opened it.
"Is that?"
"The cure. Yes. Josie. That last breath thing can be literal after all."

Josie smiled. She kissed Hope. After that they got up and started the journey to get back to mystic falls. They got there at midnight. They went to their apartment. They sat on the bed ready to drink the cure.

"Are you ready?"
"I am. I love you"
"I love you too"

Hope smiled and kissed Josie she took the cure and put it close to her lips and drunk half of it. Then gave it to Josie. She drunk too. They waited for some seconds.

"How are you feeling Jo?"
"Weird but in a good way. You?"
"I-i don't know. But, only one way to find out."

Hope walked to the kitchen and took a tiny blade. She scratched her finger a bit. It didn't heal, Josie did the same and it didn't either. She imedietly looked at Hope. They smiled and kneed down. They kissed. Hope got up, she grabbed Josie and they rushed outside. It was raining outside.

"Hope it's raining"
"I don't care"

Hope said and smiled. They kissed. But, while they were kissing, they heard someone walking close to them. They cut the kiss imedietly and turned around. They were surprised to see their history teacher from the Salvatore school.

"Wh- sir what are you doing here?"
"Hope Mikaelson and Josie Saltzman. Right?"
"Justin. Right? Our history teacher"

Hope said. She sensed that something weird was happening she stood in front of Josie.

"I was looking for you two"
"With all the respect sir but you really seem creepy right now. Standing in the rain, talking to us- your old, students"
"Mrs Mikaelson. You two are not just my old students. You also are vampires"

Josie and Hope imedietly looked at eachother feeling creeped out.
"Or used to be"
"What did you just say?
"I know that you two took a cure. So, that cure is now inside you"
