Backstory She is El's sister, she lost her powers due to trauma in the upside down, because she was sent there with Will. That's when she met him. She was introduced to the party a day before Will came back, because she used her powers to leave. Although she wasn't able to save Will during that time, because she had lost her powers, also thinking he was dead. Her original name was Julie Ives, but she escaped the lab a while before El. She is now living as a normal person in Hawkins, with El still having her powers and being new to the real world, although Julie regaining her powers might cause an effect on the party.
