× Ch.1 ×

The first thing her Lady saw were yellow rays of light streaming into her room, and then the click of a door sounding to her left.

Blurry E/c eyes took in her surroundings and allowed them to get used to the rays of the sun. She tilted her head slightly to the left as she heard the sound of footsteps coming up to her bed.

"My lady, pardon the intrusion but it is time to awake, his highness wouldn't enjoy you being late for breakfast"

The motherly voice of your only maid in the household sounded in your ears. "..m..mm.. Hannah..five more minutes.. Alois can wait.." The voice of you was droned in sleep as you shut your eyes, attempting to cut out the rays of light, but a soft chuckle opened them once more.

"No no My Lady, the time to awake is now, besides..." All of a sudden your covers were ripped from your clutches, leaving you in your bed attempting to curl in a ball to save warmth.

"We are expecting guests soon, something to do with the Trancy house, so this is an important matter to attend to" The noise of feet shuffling around the room sounded, and your E/c eyes opened again in shock.

"MATTERS!? well Hannah why didn't you tell me!?" You said in surprise, not that you cared much about work, cause mostly it was your brother Alois who took care of it, but if was matters about the estate then it was something to be concerned about.

After quickly getting ready with the help with Hannah, and then double checking yourself in the mirror you had sprinted down the halls of the manor you resided in.

Not quite caring what anyone would say considering how this manor consisted of five servants and two nobles, which was you alongside your brother.

Finally getting to the doors of the dining area, you straightened yourself out. About to open the door, but silently yelped when the door suddenly opened.

The door was opened by your brother's personal butler, the devishely handsome Claude Faustus. His head was hanging low with an arm stretched out signaling to the direction of the table.

"My lady..." He said in his always monotone voice that you wish he could stop, cause you found him boring but secretly hot.

"Oh Y/n! You've finally woken up, I've been waiting for you!" Alois stood up from his chair, pushing it back. You smiled at him and quickly sped past Claude to sit next to him, not even waiting for Claude to even push out your chair.

"My apologies brother I was having an odd dream that seemed to put me into deep sleep, I hope I didn't keep you waiting"

After having a small talk with your brother who was pondering you about your dream, the butler was preparing your plate to feast on.

Claude soon made his way to your side holding a silver plate with F/b along with a cup of Earl grey, steaming with freshness.

You hoped no one had heard the sound of your stomach growling in hunger, and sunk back into your chair in shyness and waited till Claude settled the meal Infront of you.

After talking with your brother and eating your meal, the butler beside you would explain the duty's you and your brother had for today.

You had some work to finish about some property's your brother owned, then history lessons with Claude, and then Alois would share some work with you. You pretty much zoned out as he went on.

As you were sipping on your Earl Grey, Claude was still going on

"And finally after your dance lessons my lady, you and his Highness have dinner planned with your uncle about the estates rightful ownership"

Everything was spinning for you

You spat out your tea

Alois choked on a grape he was eating

And Claude was as monotone as ever, until your reactions surprised him

"WHAT!" You and Alois said.
