Chapter Two Dawn's Return

Dawn's POV

Today was the day I see everybody again I can't wait I told Hopper I want everybody at the training ground she drove me there first while he went to get the guys so while he was gone I spent time with Hannah and Jasmine "I missed you, mommy, I thought I lost you" Jasmine said rubbing her head against me "yes princess Dawn we thought you were dead but if you do that again I will hurt you got me" Hannah said.

"Sorry Jasmine, Hannah I won't be leaving you two any time that is when I hear my bag moving around I look at it go over to it and open it only to see the little Demogorgon I save when I and Will were in the upside down.

"Hey, the little guy did you follow me?"I asked as he got closer when he was close he jumped on me and started to rub his head against me "I guess you want to stay with me uh" I said and it made a noise I guess that was a yes "okay let's name you how about Eddie but Eds for shout you like that little guy" I said he jumped off of me and ran in a circle meaning he like the name.

"Okay Eddie I need you to hide I have some friends coming and I don't want you to get hurt okay go on," I said and he went to hide "Hopper what are we doing here" I hear Mike I go to my hiding place waiting.

Hopper's POV

After I pick up Joyce, the boys who rode with me Jonathan, Nancy, and Steve were in his car, I can't wait to see their faces when they see Dawn alive we get to the woods and walk the rest of the way once we are there we go inside I hope she hiding as I said to "Hopper what are we doing there?" Mike asked.

"Stay here and close your eyes all of you," I said they did I said "okay kid come out," I said and Dawn came out she nodded "okay guys open," I said, and did, and when they saw her all of their mouths were wide open "hey guys miss me," Dawn said.

Mike's POV

Hopper told us to close our eyes but I don't know why "okay kid come out" he said who was he talking to "okay open" he said and we did my eyes must be playing with me because I see Dawn right in front of us "hey guys miss me" she said I walk up to her "Dawn is it you?" I asked she smiles "yeah Mike it's me," she said back.

After she said that I pull her into a hug not wanting to let her go but I did and the others came and hugged her I couldn't believe it Dawn was alive but I still miss El I hope wherever she is she is safe.

We all started to ask how and what happened to her, she told us that she was attacked by the Demogorgon and made it to her training ground and healed herself then found a door at the school "I wanted to come home but some men were there and I didn't want you guys to get hurt so I went to Hopper" she said.

"So you'll be staying with Hopper then since your aunt and uncle want nothing to do with you," said Steve "yeah I guess but I will still be going to school just with Hopper," she said we all talked for a while then left to go home "hey Dawn before you left the upside down did you see a girl there?" I asked.

She told me, no but she did tell me that the girl will always be with her and is not forgotten" she said then left with Hooper.

Dawn's POV

I and Hopper were going back to the cabin "nice job kid I could tell they all were happy that you were back" Hopper said "yeah me too but I just wish I could have told Mike about Eleven" I said he looked at me "you know we can't the bad men you come and take her again and you don't want that do you?" Hop said.

I just shook my head I didn't want that because that would kill Mike if something happened to El "hey I talked to Joyce and she told me Will is going to the lad to get checked and he wants you to come with him you okay with that" Hop said he told me that after Will got back he started to have episodes of the upside down "yeah I'll go for Will.

The next day I spent time with Nancy "so how's Barb?" I asked but Nancy looked down "I see her at school but she won't talk to me at all, I think she's mad at me because of what happened," I said I didn't like seeing her sad or hurt "let's go to her house," I said.

She looked at me "What?" Nancy said I told her to let me talk to her she drove us to Barb's house "stay in the car I'll be right back" I said she nodded I knock on the door and Barb's mom answered I told her I was a friend of her she let me in and I went up to Barb's room.

Barb's POV

I hear a knock at my door "go away mom" I said then I hear a familiar voice, "It's not your mom Barb" the voice said I got up and opened the door to see Dawn "hey Barb can I come in" she said I move out of the way and let her in "Dawn what are you doing here?" I asked.

"I came to talk to you about Nancy," she said I just froze I haven't talked to Nancy since I got back "what about her?" I said she started to tell me I should forgive Nancy she made a mistake and she is feeling horrible then she told me about a fight she had with one of her friends from the back where she lives.

She said that she her and friend didn't talk for about a month but once we knew the fight was stupid we forgave each other and never talked about it again "who was the friend?" I asked "my friend Beverly I was mad that she had to move and I didn't want her to" I started to understand what she was saying.

After that, I went out and talked to Nancy.

Dawn's POV

I watched as Nancy and Barb talked and after a few minutes they were both huggings then Barb came over to me and hug me saying ''thank you "and you're welcome" I said then went over to the car Nancy did the same thing Barb did then we left.

Tonight I and the boys are going to the arcade to play some games I told El I would bring her something back now let's see what will happen.
