Chapter 9

Flo's POV

Today is the day that my parents are taking me to the sea sorcerer to change my tail into legs. The sorcerer's magic is powerful but I will only have legs if they are dry one drop of liquid and my tail will appear. I said goodbye to my sisters for a month but promised to visit them a lot. A grabed my seaweed bag with a few things that I would need such as money, my mother of pearl hair pin, my apartment key and a couple of other things. We made our way towards the sea sorcerer my father swam ahead of my mom and I. "Flo" my mom said looking at me "ya mom" I replied "I have given all of your sisters something speical for their 18th birthday so here and happy late bithday" she said as she was rooting in her seaweed bag then she found what she was looking for a clam she handed it to me. I opened the clam to sea a beautilful neckless with a small drop shell and a small baby pink pearls on either side. "Would you like me to put it on for you?" she asked "yes please I love it mom thank you so much!" I said as I flung my arm around her. She clipped the chain around my neck. We then hurried on to catch up with my dad. We came to the cave where the sorcerer lived. "Hello" my dad called out "is anyone there?" "Yes, yes do come in" an old voice called out we swam into the cave a wrinkled old mermaid with long gray hair and a purple tail came into sight. The walls of the cave were lined with shelves with all different things such as bottles and jars "What can I do for you" the old woman said as she came closer the cave seemed to run under ground " my daughter would like to have legs for 1 month please" my mom said "can you help us?" "of coures I can help you but it will be 10 pieces of gold for the potion" "okay here" my father said as she handed the woman the gold "thank you" she said as she took the gold and put it into a box. She took on of the bottles from the shelf it had purple sparckley stuff in it. She pulled the corck from the bottle and poured it into her cauldern and put some other things in it and pooph it seemed to have melted into a rock it was purple just like the liquid in the bottle. She said "this rock will mealt into a tea when mixed with hot seaweed water" as she took some seaweed water and put it in her cauldren and she closed her eyes. Suddenly the water started to boil she then put the rock in. The rock instently mealted into the water leaving a purple glow to the water. She put it into a bottle and said "drink this just before you onto the suffuse and you will grow legs." She handed me the potion, we thanked her and we left.
