Chapter 14

Noah's POV

I went over to Flo's apartment to help her with decorating it and we had our first kiss!! We are in my car on the way to my moms house for dinner and we are getting to know each other by asking each other questions. I am going to try get Flo the job at the ringtoss stall at the pier because I work at the tilt a whirl and there is an opening at the ringtoss. " Flo?" "Yes, Noah? " Where did you move from" she froze I think I might have upset her "um...well...um" she stuttered. " It's okay if you don't want to tell me" I said " no, I do I'm from Sidney but I moved LA when I was 10 and I left my family home a couple of days ago and into my apartment " she answered looking kinda shaken up but that would explain how she has a mixture of accents. We then pulled up into the driveway of my moms house and went inside. "Noah" my mom said as she came out of the kitchen with her chestnut brown hair pulled back in a hair clamp with loose bits hanging around her face and wearing a messy blue apron. "Who is this?" She asked looking at Flo "this is Flo my..." "His girlfriend" "well how lovely to meet you Flo my name is Georgina" my mom said sweetly " it's lovely to meet you Georgina" Flo said " we are having salmon and salad do you like salmon?" " yes, that's great because I only eat fish no other meat" she said, it just goes to show that I learn something new about Flo everyday. "That's an inserting dietary choice" my mom said as she lead us into the kitchen were the table was set and waiting for us to sit at it " dinner will be done in a few minutes make your selves comfortable she said as she set another place for Flo as she only set 2 places because she didn't know that Flo was coming she was kinda my plus 1. Soon the table was filled with bowls and plates of different things to eat and we sat to it and ate. Flo's plate was very interesting there was only salmon, my moms prawns in sauce and a tiny bit of salad. When we were done I drove Flo home but while I was driving I asked her " so I'm your boyfriend now ?" I asked her, her face went red " well, you were stumbling over your words so I helped" "Flo if you wanna be my girlfriend you can" "so what are you saying?" Well, do you wanna be my girlfriend ?" " yes please" she said with a big smile and kissed my cheeks and then I noticed here nails were dark purple and I didn't think they were that colour before " hey did you paint your nails ?" I asked her she immediately looked at them " um... ya I did" " okay" I said she seems to react really weirdly to somethings and not to others. Before we knew it we were in the parking lot of the apartment block. We both got out of the car and I walked Flo up to her apartment but before I left she said " I love you, boyfriend" and kissed me but then she closed to door I then walked up the stairs and into my apartment and opened to door. My apartment was just like Flo's, the same lay out, same rooms but mine was painted differently because before I moved in me an my mom and me did it up that's were to take Flo to get cheaper stuff for her apartment. When you walk in the door there is a small cream couch on the left wall next to the door and a tv in front of it on a tv stand the walls are dark blue there is a picture of a mountain over the couch, then you walk a couple of steps from the door way there is a small kitchen area with a half wall splitting it from the living room in the kitchen there is 5 counters 1 with a sink, 1 with a microwave and 1 with a toaster, a fridge, a cooker and a small round table with 2 chairs. When you come out of the kitchen to your left there is a hallway with 3 doors, a bedroom, a broom closet and a bathroom. The first door leads to the bedroom, it has a double bed with white bed covers, a full mirror, a closet and a picture of me and my mom and the walls are green. The second door leads to the bathroom, it has a toilet, a sink, a bath shower thingy and a shelf for toilettes. And at the end of the hallway there is a door that leads to the broom closet.
