Chapter 11

Flo's POV

My mom and dad took me into a cave and showed me a chest on a sand bank so it wasn't in the water. My mom opened the chest to reveal a rope dress and drift wood sandals. "The last few week I have been collecting rope to make the dress sine I figured that you need something to wear when you go on land first. Your dad made the sandals out of flattened drift-wood and rope" she looked at me. " Thank you guys, I will miss you" I said starting to get teary eyed " we will miss you too, baby" she said as she gave me a big bear hug with my dad. I took the dress and sandals and put them in my seaweed bag and we left. As we swam to the pier I was really nervous about going to the surface and was playing around with the little bottle inside my bag. When we arrived under the pier we made sure that there was no one around and pulled our selfs up onto a couple of rocks under the pier. I reached into my bag and pulled out the dress and sandals, put them on out on the rocks and used my heat power on the to dry them off. I put the dress on, it fit like a glove. I took the the bottle out of my bag and took the cork out. I sniffed it and it smelt horrible "ugh " I gagged " are you sure you sure you want to do this, hon?" my mom said with a hint of worry in her voice "yeah mom I'm sure it's not that bad" " okay" she said and she forced a smile my mom was still a little off with me going off on my own. " I'll be fine mom" I said trying to reassure her "I know hon I just can't believe my youngest little baby is all grown up" she said with tears in her eyes "I'll always be your baby girl mom" I said as I hugged her " just please stay in touch" she said " girls we better hurry up because its getting late and Aquara we have to get home" my dad said " bye daddy" I said as I hugged him I felt safe in his arms he kissed my head "please look after Rayne when I'm gone" I said. "Of course we will" my dad said. I took the bottle and knocked it well back, even though the potion will give me legs when I get wet I will get my tail and I still will always have my powers. My tail suddenly formed into a pair of legs with teal and mint toe nails just like my finger nails. I tried to get up but failed but the second time I got up but I wasn't very good at walk. I practised walking on the sand behind the rocks under the pier. When I finally got good at it which was after about 10 minutes I said goodbye to my mom and dad I dried with my heat power my seaweed bag because it was still wet and waved to my parents as I left, I then heard a splash and I turned around and they around and they were gone. A tear ran down my cheek as I then realised I was alone. The pier was just next to the beach. I walked up the beach and was just about to go find my apartment because my mom had told me the name of the apartment block when I saw to rock when I met that boy Noah I really liked him when I saw someone sitting on the rock looking out at the sea so I walked over to inspect. It was Noah. "Noah?" I called out it looked like I snapped him out off deep thought. My hair was blowing in the wind as I made my way up on to the rocks next to Noah. "I'm sorry Noah for what happened the last time we meet I had to get home my parents would have been wandering were I was." I said " It's okay" he replied " Um... Flo" he said "do you want go the pier, as like a date?" He asked I was so happy "Ya" I would like that a lot" I replied, my nails when purple that meant I was ... In love? Mer's nails show their emotions. I felt a burn in my side by my hip but I ignored it. I felt so weird at the moment I didn't control myself but I'm glad I didn't I kissed his cheek! He took me to the pier and won me a dolphin plushy and guess what he just moved into the same apartment block Ocean Breeze.
