"JUSTIN!" Pattie held her heart as she whitnessed her son alive and well. She rushed over to the bed and embraced him with tiny pecks all over his cheeks. "Oh Lord honey. I'm sorry I couldn't get here faster! How are you?"
Pattie squeezed Justin. "Mom I'm fine!"
"Justin, you got hit by a car. I was terrified. But I'm glad Morgan is here to keep your company." She smiled at me.
Pattie stayed for a while and we talked about the end of our summers. I never mentioned what Justin did to me, she never even knew we were together.
"Love you mom." Justin said when Pattie was leaving.
She blew him a kiss. "Love you too baby. Bye Morgan."
I loved Pattie. She was humble and didn't let Justin's fame get to her. She was basically my second mom.
