Her Little One

"Mommy!!!!", said a four year old child jubilantly. Cause yes, he successfully made his mother rise from her slumber. But wait what is happening here?
The little one shifted more closer to his mother and started shaking her with his tiny hands.
"Mum?.......*patting her cheeks* mommy?"
Few moments passed with his mommy not waking up. Now, obvious tears were gathered in his big bambi eyes. He whimpered,
"Mum"
Hearing his low breaking voice which is clearly an indication that he is now gonna cry his eyes out, she immediately woke up and took the infant in a tight hug.
"Oh god! Sorry baby I was just playing with you. Sorry, sorry. Mommy is sorry, okay?"
He noddded with his red cute little face.
She rubbed his back soothingly in an up-down motion and patted his head,
"Mommy is always here with you okay? I will never leave my chubby baby, you know right?" To which he just whimpered, "mommy".
And in return she engulfed her more in the hug.

"Mommmy!!!"
"Yeah baby?"
"My vacation are going on, mommy"
"I know baby" she said taking a seat in front of him.
"So I was saying" he played avoiding the main thing he want to say.
"So? What my baby want to say?", she said suppressing a chuckle seeing the toddler's convincing attempt.

He started thinking hardly. Interpreting all the consequences of the thing that he wants. Will he be denied? But still, trusting the ray of hope, he made a super innocent face with big doe eyes and worded his wish.

"So, can we go to dadda's company today? I wanna roam there!"
He made a pout after saying.

In return, she said.

"Sorry, but no baby, today we need to go to the new school to take your admission."

As soon as he heard this, his bright smile turned down and a flash of sadness washed over his face. Seeing his state a thought ran through her mind, the day she came in his life. While she was silent, he had started eating his breakfast, still with that sad pouty face. When she came out of her thoughts, she called out to him,

"Sehun-aah"

In this whole world, the happiest moment for this child is when she calls her name, his mother. He looked up. Staring her with a bright smile, the gloomy emotion long gone. She returned the smile with the love and care she held for him. It never changed.

"Don't be sad, Dadda will be joining us there"

The moment he heard that his dad will also be joining him in his new start, his happiness knew no bounds.
He jumped from his little chair, and rushed towards his mommy, wrapping his tiny hands around her and looking up towards her with his big curiosity eyes.

"Really mommy?"

She smiled wider and picked him up in her arms and booped his nose before replying.

"Yes cutie, now let's get ready before dadda comes, shall we?"

He squeaked in her arms and noddded his head vigorously and gestured by his hands,

"And surprise him that you are not late this time" saying this he immediately got down and ran away from her before she realises what he said.

"Heyyy!!!! Ladies take time to get ready!!!! Yahh! Come here you little devil" and ended with a chuckle.

"Sehun-aah, pick the call baby, maybe dadda is calling."

"Yeah mommy"

(ON THE PHONE)

"Hello?"

"Oh my littly boy?"

"Dadda!!!"

"Yeah, where's mommy?"

He looked towards her mom who was exhausted and was still trying to give a good style to her hair.
He giggled and said,

"Mom is working"

"Working?"

"On her hair"

The latter chuckled imagining the woman's state.

"Oh, can you give this call to your mommy?"

"Yeah" he nodded and then walked towards her.

"Mommy", he called out.

She changed her focus from her hair to his little devil and decided to give a break to her hairstyle hardwork.

He extended the phone towards her,

"Dadda" indicating whose call it is even though she still knows.
She took the phone and the conversation stepped further,

(ON THE PHONE)
"Helloooo!!"

"Y/n aah", he chuckled a little hearing he way she greeted him,

"Yeah?"

"Actually" the male seemed hesitant to speak what he has and so she spoke,

"Yes? Continue Shin"

"I wanted to say that I am stuck in an emergency meeting, so I will directly come to the school, okay?"

"Oh, okay. Then I and Sehun will leave first."

And that's how the call ended.

"What Dadda said Mommy?"

"We will be leaving first to your new school baby, Dadda will join us there. Okay?"

In return he nodded and looked the world outside through the window. A smile found its way on his face which went unnoticed by Y/N.
He went towards the window and continued staring the scenery.

"Baby!!", she voiced.

He turned around giving a last glance of his face to the wind blowing outside and ran to where his mom was.

"Yes Mommy?"

"Let's go."

He nodded and they both left. She was happy thinking how her son is a little grown now. Contented that she have two important persons in her life of whom she is taking care. Her Husband and her Son.
Unaware about the missing piece and what today's future holds.
