The tragedy of Jake

The beginning

Hi. My name is Jake, and I'm single, hot, and half demon. Don't make me mad and it triggers me when people touch my tail.

The ball is tonight and... I don't have anyone to go with, I mean nobody really likes me despite me being the most attractive person in the school. Maybe I'll just ask Miranda, she's so pretty and it would be a real pleasure going with her.
"H-hey Miranda! Wanna go to the b-b-b-ball with me" I asked shyly
"Of course! I'd lov-" she starts but then gets cut off by Josh
"MIRANDA 👹" Josh yells "YOURE MINE! GET AWAY FROM THAT UGLY CRUSTY DUSTY MUSTY UGLY.... THING"
I'm taken aback by his insult
"W-w-what?" Is all I manage to stammer out
Miranda turns around to see Josh, clearly not having expected him to be there
"But... Miranda loves me! Not you 😡" I yell at Josh
"WRONG! SHE LOVES ME!" He yells back as they start to make out
Im heartbroken.... The one person I thought would truly love me already has their heart in someone else's hands.... I knew nobody loved me
"No! Miranda please!" I cry out pleading for her to choose me
"J-Josh...." She says then looks over at me with tears in her eyes "I'm sorry jake"
As those words leave her mouth and she turns her back to me, I feel a sudden rush of anger and the need of revenge. I can feel myself growing stronger and I feel something in me changing
