The following day, they all assembled at the entrance to the Ruby Palace, appearing pale and drained. Including Angelica, she had once more stayed the night there.
                                                                                                                                                                                                  Felix reluctantly suggested that it was time to leave, casting a hesitant look at the children before him.

'We were being too much yesterday.'  Athanasia felt guilty as she walked toward the red haired knight tugging gently on the leg of his pants.

"Athy's legs hurt, give me piggy back."

"Yes princess." Felix almost instantly agreed and knelt down to carry her.

Lillian who had been watching them blew out a relived breath seeing that the tense atmosphere between them almost instantly disappeared.

Lillian saw them all off as they greeted her and went on their way.

'Look at them they're acting like newly Weds.' Athanasia glanced at Felix and lily .

'It's obvious they have no respect for us single people' thought Angelica who had no experience in love .

"We'll be heading to the audience chamber today." Felix informed the twins as they walked towards the large doors that are shut closed.

"We'll have to wait for awhile."

'That Claude and his shitty manners if he is going to make a person wait he could at least have them wait in the room .' Athanasia fumed inwardly.

Suddenly the door creaked open and a silver haired noble came out.

"Sir Felix." The  man greeted

' Whoa such a charismatic dude' Athanasia looked at him in wonder

"It has been some time, Sir Roger," Felix remarked with his usual approachable smile.

Hearing that name caught Angelica's attention. She was quite familiar with that name so she started paying attention to their conversation.

"I was curious since I didn't see you at the audience hall ,funny seeing you here "Roger seemed almost amused-mocking even but clearly Felix wasn't bothered by it.

Roger then noticed the siblings as he hadn't really been paying attention to his surroundings .

"My,pardon my manners I didn't notice ,Roger Alpheus at your service. May prosperity be upon the Obelian empire." Roger gave a low bow towards the royal siblings.

'roger Alpheus quite the ambitious guy he lives a very successful life using that girl' Angelica observed the man bowing in front of her. He was the irksome type she noted. Definitely the type of person she should avoid in the near future.

'hmmm what's with that look in his eyes is he comparing us with his card(Jennette)me a five year old 'thought Athanasia.

"Hello mister white."she greeted him with a smile with the intent of making a fool of him.

" Whi..."mumbled Felix clearly wondering if he heard right as the princess next to him stood the with a blank face internally enjoying what's about to happen.

" She wouldn't happen to be talking about me , would she " asked Roger pointing to himself clearly surprised.

"Mister , you look like a white dog." Angelica joined in tormenting the old man who thought highly of himself.
