Chapter 4

Hey guys! This chapter is pretty much about her first day at school. It might not be as long as the other chapters, but hey, it still works! Hope u enjoy! :3

Emerald POV: 

                          "Good morning class!" "Good morning Miss. Kim!" I hear inside the classroom.  Here I was outside the classroom, waiting till she let's me in for my introduction.  'I'm so nervous I think I'm gonna throw up!' I think in my head.  "Ok class, quiet down!  We have a new student joining us today!" My stomach turns.  Then the door opens a little to show the teachers face giving me the "ok" to come in.  After that I walk into the classroom as slowly as possible, wishing I wasn't in this situation.  As I get up to the front of the classroom, all eyes are on me, making my stomach turn even more.  "Class! This is Emerald Dawn! Please be nice to her and make her fell welcome!" I felt my face get a little hot.  I wasn't use to everyone looking at me and me getting all the attention.  "How about you sit over there?" she asks in a sweet tone.  I nod and head towards my seat.  My seat was in the second row of desks, the farthest one to the left.  As I got to my seat some people looked away from me disinterested and looked back up at the teacher, but others keep looking at me with curious eyes as I sit down.

                             Then the teacher spoke saying "Now everyone! Please get on top of you're desks and weal play a game to help our new student remember our names!" "Ok!" Everyone says gleefully, except for me that is.  When everyone is on there desks waiting for the game to start, Miss. Kim tells us how to play.  "Ok class! All you have to do is toss this ball to each person and when you get the ball you say you're full name, your age, and what you like to do, and also, once you've done it please sit back down in your chair!" Sounds simple enough.  "Ok! Lets start with Emerald!" she says cheerfully, handing me the ball.  I hesitate nervously, but then start to talk.  "My names Emerald Dawn, I'm 10 years old, and I like to walk in the meadow behind my house." I didn't tell them about Slendy cuz when ever I tell anyone, they don't believe me, so what's the point.  Then I pass it to another kid as I sit down.  As we start to finish, a boy was about to talk.  "My names David Welch, I'm 10 years old, and I like to play Slender!" now that pricked my interest.  Does Slendy have more friends then just me?  "What's that, David?" Miss. Kim asks with curiosity.  'Yes!' I think, glad she asked him that question, so I wouldn't have too.  "Slender is a horror game where there's this thing called Slenderman and he's really tall, pale, and has no face and you walk around this forest picking up creepy notes and while you do that you have to keep moving or he'll scare you and kill you!" I was stunned.  That's not true!  Slendy's nice and has always helped me get over things!  I was angry that they thought that Slendy was a thing and that they thought he does those sort of things, but I was also scared that they might be true...

                                      'Well this is boring...' I think to myself as I swing, listening to other kids talking and laughing in the afternoon breeze.  There was a forest near the playground and I wished that I could have gone in there to see Slendy, but when I tried a little while ago, some teachers stopped me and told me it wasn't aloud.  Suddenly a girl came up to the swing next to me, getting me away from my thoughts.  She had brown, neat, straight  hair and blue, sea colored eyes like mine.  Then she scooted a little closer to my swing and asks "Can I swing here?" she asks politely.  I nod, to nervous to talk.  Then she sits down on the swing next to me and starts to swing. "So, you're name's Emerald right?" "Yeah..." I answer quietly.  She's probably trying to be my friend or something, so I should probably try to be nice.  "My name's Alyse NewTree! Weird last name right!" she says cheerfully.  "Yeah I guess..." "So... Do you wanna hangout sometimes?" "Yeah sure.." Was I making another friend, I think so.  After that we talked the whole rest of recess, well actually, she did most of the talking, but I talked sometimes too!  When one of the teachers blew their whistle, signaling us to get in line to come in the building.  As me and Alyse were walking toward the lines, I swore I saw Slendy by the edge of the woods, looking at me, or at least I think he was because when I turned to check, he wasn't there.

Slenderman POV:

                                                'Where is she?' I think impatiently as I wait in the meadow, under the giant willow.  She usually met me here by noon, human time.  Then I remembered something she said.  'Well.. You see.. I think I might have to go to a real school soon.'Maybe she's at that human school!  Then I got up and ran as fast as I could to the forest.  I didn't like sunlight very much, so I usually tried dodging most of it.  After that I went over to the human school.  Usually, when, I go over there, It's only to see if any foolish children come in the wood, but today I had a way better reason to go there.  When I got to the school, many small humans were running around and playing.  I searched and searched until I found her.  She was swinging alone, looking borad out of her mind.  I wish I could go over there and talk with her, but I don't think that would go over well with some humans.  Then out of nowhere a little girl came up to her and started talking to Emmie.  After a while the girl got on the swing next to her and they started talking, though I noticed the other girl did most of the talking.  After a while, one of the bigger humans made an annoying sound and everyone , including Emmie, went over to get into lines.  As Emmie got off the swing she looked over to the forest and saw me, so I turned invisable.  I was starting to get a worried feeling in my gut.  I mean I was glad she made a human friend, but I didn't want her to forget me, because of that...

Hey guys hope you enjoyed it!  Oh, and nevermind about how this chapter might be small then the others!  This took a while to write, so I lied! :3  :)
