Princes and Pinkie Promises (Slenderman Love Story)

Chapter 12

Emerald P.O.V.

                           I woke up with the sound of my phone ringing and my head hurting.  What was that!? A bad dream, maybe?  I check the caller ID on my phone, Alyse NewTree.  "Yes..." I say annoyed.  "Hey, were you still sleeping?  Sorry if you were, but you should have been up anyway.  Do you know what time it is?" "What?..." I look over to my alarm clock and check the time.  "1:00!" "Yep, good morning baby cakes!" I groaned.  As I was starting to get out of bed, I felt a stab of pian in my leg.  "Uhgg!" "Is something wrong?" No way.  You have got to be kidding me!  I had pulled my pant leg up to see a bloody, worn out piece of my clothing.  "Hey, Alyse!  I have to go!" "Huh? Wh-" I hung up and threw my phone on top of my bed.  

                              I limped to the bathroom, pain in each step.  When I got there, I sat down on the rim of the bathtub and unwound the cloth from my leg.  The blood was dry and starting to heal up.  "Oh, my..." What should I do!  It could get infected while healing!  I got up and limped over to the sink, bent over, and opened the sink cabinets.  I looked around and finally found the first-aid.  I opened it up and got some medical disinfectant spray and some light, cloth wrap.  I sprayed on the disinfectant and gently wrapped the fresh cloth around my leg.  Once I did that, I got up and walked towards Camie's room.  I could hear quiet snores as I entered the room.  It was a mess in there!  Everything was everywhere!  I limped over to her closet, got the crutches(She said only to use them in emergency's), and limped out, on the crutches.  As soon as I did that, I was off to go see Slendy.  I wanted to know what happened back there!  Why people were shooting and who they where after... 

                                 I entered the meadow carefully, for I wasn't sure if they were still here.  "Slendy..." I say as loud as I felt comfortable.  Just then, Slendy appeared in front her me, in his clean, untouched suit.   "Come..." he ordered, taking me by the hand.  As we walked over to the pond, I wondered what he was going to tell me.  When we got to the pond he said "Sit." I sat obediently as he sat too.  I spoke first.  "Slendy, what was that last night?" He sat silently staring and the grass until finally saying "Slender Hunters." "What were they doing?" "Just as the name implies, hunting me." "Why were they doing that!?" "Why do you think...?" he said as he lifted his head up face me, I gulped.  If the rumors are true, Slendy use to kill people in a very.... cruel way, and he probably still does... 

                                     "Oh, never mind that, on an other note, I am so sorry that you got caught up in this old mess of mine." He may not have had a face, but he looked so sad it was heart-breaking.  Then, I suddenly remembered something.  "Slendy, on the day you.... anyway, you had a mouth and I'm pretty sure you have a voice too.  I would like you to show me that I wasn't just day-dreaming or imagining it.  Please?" He was silent for a moment, deep in thought, but finally said "Alright, but I don't run away when I do as you ask." "Promise." Then his face started to change.  It was being stretched and starting to tear.  In all honesty, I was terrified.  I hadn't seen this part because on that day, I hadn't looked up, but today, I was watching it all and it scared me. 

                                            But, just as it started, it stopped and his mouth was visable.  "If it scares you, I can make it go away." That voice, The mystical voice I heard last night, It really was him.  All my fear went away, just flat out disappeared, I smiled.  Then, without notice, I hugged him, got up on my tipie-toes, kissed the edge of his mouth, and whispered "Thank you."   I ran as best I could with my injury, towards the house.  

OH. MY. GOODNESS.
