CHAPTER ONE━━━
act i.— reminiscence of childhood

"i was stuck...I was alone"

      𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐌𝐎𝐕𝐄 𝐓𝐎 Forks, Washington was everything but fair on Alaska Swan. When she and Bella got news that they'd be living with their father in the small town hidden in the Pacific Northwest, they both handled it differently.

    While Alaska was disheartened that she had to leave her life and friends behind, she took the news graciously. It was only for the remainder of their high school years and she missed Charlie more than she could express.

    Bella however didn't share the same view. She was so deeply rooted in Phoenix and her life with her mom that she couldn't imagine a life in Forks. She didn't want it.

    But when the girl's entered the dismal town the roles easily reversed. Bella stepped into the limelight, a whole group of friends and a mysterious boyfriend was instantaneous for the girl.

    But where did that leave Alaska?

   The moment she entered the town, a ringing filled her ears. A ringing that only worsened the deeper in town she went. Then she started school. The ringing shifted to hot flashes and what seemed to be hallucinations.

    She was shoved to the side, forced to suffer in silence as she watched the world pass her by.

    Her time was no longer filled with school activities like debate team or cheer squad. Instead it was spent within a small office where a woman told her she a schizophrenic. But the medicine never worked and Alaska was forced to endure with "condition."

    She watched as her sister fell in love with Edward Cullen and spent all of her time with his family, forgetting about her in the process.

    Then one day, the Cullens left.

   She can't say exactly when it happened, but the images and voices reduced to whispers and colors. The ringing shifted into nothing but the buzzing of phantom pain.
