(Y/f/g) = your favorite game!

"Hello everyone!!" You greeted, a huge smile on your face as you stared into your camera. You watched as the viewer count went up as you made your introduction.

"So sorry I've been gone, but as you can see, my new place is all set up!" You held your arms out, presenting your new background.

You were used to the usual crowd of a few thousand people per stream, but you still got a little nervous each time. After such a long break you couldn't help but wonder how many people would join, had they forgotten about you?

The comments soon came flooding in and you felt yourself relax. Everyone was happy to see you and you felt grateful.

◽️xAngryChildx: "Welcome back!! Long time no see B) !!!"

◽️Nervous_Panda: "Yayyy my fav streamer is back! <3 <3 <3"

◽️AyyMoney: "new set up looks great!"

You'd been streaming for years and had grown steadily the last few months. Still, each comment was special to you and you appreciated every single viewer and tried your best to interact with them. You liked to chat about your life during streams but you'd also play video games. One of your favorites was (y/f/g), and your audience really enjoyed watching you play.

You spent a few hours talking and answering the many questions everyone had for you, as well as showing off a few of your new figures and streaming gear. You got a new microphone and a new gaming chair, both in your favorite color. Since you were starting fresh in your new space you took the chance to upgrade some things as well!

As you talked about your day you knew you would inevitably have to bring up the fact that you had a new roommate.

"So, I have some exciting news to share..." you smiled and trailed off, watching the chat explode with speculations from your fans. "I have a roommate!" You whispered excitedly into the microphone.

As you expected, everyone wanted to know who this mystery roommate could be, there were many theories but you decided not to give anything away yet. It was hard not to notice the few commenters questioning if you had a new partner. You swiftly ignored them, faintly feeling the twist in your stomach again.

"Okay everyone, sorry to say, but I'm going to be keeping this secret a bit longer." You laughed. You wanted a chance to prepare before you shared the big news, who knew what changes this new living arrangement could bring?

You decided to end the stream now since it'd been going on for hours now and it was getting a bit late. After your goodbyes you closed down your computer and decided to get some dinner.

Sitting on the couch you pulled out your phone and ordered your favorite on DoorDash. You figured you deserved it after such a successful stream. You put YouTube on the TV and decided to relax while you waited for your food. You checked the clock and realized Kevin still wasn't home, and it was almost 10pm. You hoped he wouldn't be out too late.

A few hours later you were still sitting on the couch and your dinner was long gone. You'd been reading a book and were half asleep on the couch when you heard what sounded like keys jingling outside your front door. You bolted upright and looked at the clock under your TV, it read 1:15 AM. Kevin usually didn't stay out this late.

You heard the door open after what sounded like a few failed attempts at fitting the key in the lock. Heavy foot steps made there way over to you and you saw Kevin swaying in the entryway to your living room. His form was lit dimly by the warm lamp in the corner next to the couch. He was looking around lazily.
