He was in pain.
And yet no one could see it.
Each step he took was mirrored only by footprints of blood.
Behind him walked his shadows.
As far as he ran, he could never escape them.
Shadows were funny things, the only way to leave them behind was to step into the darkness.
But whenever he did so, his eyes would be blinded. All sense would disappear.
He would be alone.
So, perhaps he should step into the light; and yet once again, he would have been blinded.
But until his eyes could see through the darkness, he would be forced to walk the path of the light.
They would glow with the fury of his pain, casting ghostly light over the darkness.
Perhaps the Shadows shall also be blinded.
Perhaps even they may fade with such powerful light.
Afterall, light does repel darkness.... Right?
He had thought this for a while, so much that his mind deemed it fact.
The light had blinded him more than he had previously assumed.
But, in the end, light will always breed darkness.
The stronger the light, the stronger the shadow.
So, the question remained... How long does it take for your shadows to catch up to you?
The Devil has fallen from Heaven, his past has been torn apart.
Born of the light lies the ruler in Darkness.
Note- Pardon my grammar and spelling. It's not very good.
Not much happens until chapter 3.
If you are not pleased by chapter 1-2 just, try and push through. This is my first-time writing, the road is very bumpy, but it should improve within time!
Thank you for the support!
