Don't Tell

As I walked back to the house after talking for hours with Ander, I thought of Edward.

I told Ander, Edward is not himself anymore. No more tricks, none at all.

Being more serious about everything because he blames himself for his death. He hates those pranks and tricks we pull because it reminds him of how he used to be with Ander. So in turn he hates the Weasley twins. Too many memories, he says.

My friends, of course, don't know of Ander. So they feel care free about their actions.

We talked about how Mom and Dad are more protective. We rarely see Lupin because sometimes he guards the house and when he's not, he does his own.

After just cuddling against him and informing him about everything, he held me by the shoulders and looked straight in my eyes.

"Lizzie, you know I love you and Edward, right?" He asked, as if we some how hate him now.

I nodded, going to tell him how much I love him but he stops me.

"Then you know how much I am willing to do for you. As long as I'm here, you will be safe. As a ghost I have some advantages." He paused thinking. It was always him who would think before acting, whereas Eddie would act then think. And if an apology was in order, he'd take you out somewhere, begging for forgiveness.

He continued with words that broke my heart "Don't tell Edward of me. Not now anyways. He hasn't visited the tree since my death. He might not be ready to see me."

At this I only nodded. He knows whats best. Who am I to mess this up for Ander? He deserves this wish from me.

With that he dismissed me with a long hug, a kiss to the cheek and we exchanged'i love you's.

We stood at the door in our embrace. He smelt like he always does, peppermint and old spice deodorant. I let out a single tear, not allowing anymore. And walked home, because Alexander just disappeared.

As I reached my house, Edward came out running with tears in his eyes towards me. As Mommy and Daddy looked upset at the door and then relieved as they saw me.

"Where have you been, you nearly gave me a heart attack at 16!" He yelled, scooping me up in a hug. He dropped to his knees, with me still in his arms.

When father and mother caught up to Eddie, they were relieved that I was home.

"Darling flower, you gave mommy a start." She says as if I'm only two years old again.

"Are you alright, are you hurt? You look filthy." Father said with worry, grabbing me from Eddie into his warm arms. Mom started to touch my hair and stroke it.

I only said that I tripped on a rock, though it was because I was laying on the dusty sofa with Ander.

Can't believe they bought that.

"I went to the Crying Tree to talk to Ander." I know Ander told me not to tell anyone of his presents, but I can't lie to them. So I don't see the harm in telling what I was doing before.

Edward nodded, i guess he understands. I feel bad that I gave him a start like that. I kissed his tears away, stood and offered to make him breakfast.

Mom smiled at my attempt to cheer him up. Mom offered to help too. Dad had to go now because he has this agenda that helps him keep track. Now I think he is to go to his study to investigate another case.

Eddie and Mom went to get the ingredients from the storage kitchen and said we'd meet in the kitchen, once I have gotten the boys up.

The boys were still a sleep. It's 9:00am already. Then I got an idea that made me smile a smile that woud put the Grinch to shame.

I went to the kitchen, grabbed Eddie's hand, told him what's up, four pans and a three squishy tomatoes.

I guess if I make Edward smile, he'll forget about my worrying him earlier.

We stalked into the room, the boys sleeping delicately and innocently.

We were going to ruin that for them.

I went to Oliver while Edward went to the twins.

I slipped a tomatoe in Oli's back part of his pants because he was on his stomach.

Edward followed suit with the twins.

On a count to five, we slammed the pans together making the most noise.

"WAKE UP YA CRACKHEADS!" Eddie and I yelled at the top of our lungs.

The boys rolled onto their backs, trying to get up. Instead they squished the tomatoes and made a mess in their pants.

Their faces were priceless.

Eddie was laughing his head off, turning red. I think I'm going to pee.

Fred was clueless to what just happened and stood there confused.

George, knowing how to take a joke, laughed as well.

Oli was freaking out. He yelled something about having his period. Ha, as if.

Once we recovered, I noticed Oliver was crying. "Oli, what's wrong, I didn't mean to make you cry." I said innocently. I kind of felt bad now.

"No, it's not you. I think I just peed myself." He said and then laughed at how stupid this all is.

Eddie led each of the boys into a guest room so they can clean up.

While I went to the kitchen to start breakfast with Mom and Elenora, our maid.

Father went to practice his swordsmanship with Kurt, our defense teacher.

(Mom and Dad wants us to be prepared for muggle life and the wizard world. So they hired:

Kurt Lands our defence teacher in all categories from weapons of all sorts to spell casting and enchantments. A very scary, masculine man but once you meet him properly and he approves of you, he'll become sort of like a brother. Very goofy, this man, he uses strange techniques o help us learn. He will first beat you up, causing you to be angered. Tells you to use this new found energy. And when you're exhausted, he'll anger you again and teach you how to level this into an advantage so as not to cload ANY of you greater knowledge.

Mandy Lands is our humanism teacher. Literature, mathematics, biology, anything you can name she taught us, that includes pooty training. Everything but history because Father wants to teach us this. Married to Kurt, hence their last names. She seems like a very harsh woman for she works you day and night, pestering often. But when you have finally succeeded she smiles a smile that makes you feel good.

Elanoa Grand our house maid. 31 years old. She is the kindest soul you'll ever meet. She keeps things in order as it should be. Also a Carer. A person who sees to it that you are able and well.

Thomas Grand: Husband of Elenora. 32 years old. Basically a butler. He helps with our guests, keeps us on schedual. Kind man. He is similar to Kurt but slim with a bit of mucuals. Only person in the world besides the Grey family that knows where any of the hidden passages and rooms. Other than that he can make a mean cup of coffee.

They were lost individuals in the world, Mother and Father happened to cross paths with.

They asked for help and Father took them to our home. And in exchange for a place to sleep, eat and live comfortably they must work for them as what was needed.

Father was the kind of man that will believe what one says if he, himself, felt the emotion one was giving.

Mother has strange ways of telling if a person is telling the truth or not. She goes on one's tone, movements and anything else that could express.

Together they make the perfect team. They work as lawyers in the Ministry of Magic.

My father is kind but blunt. Mother is persistent yet considerate.

I worship my parents for they stood tall. Worked hard, kind and just seemed superior over everyone.

One day I hope to carry myself as my parents do.

But when it came to breakfast, lets just say, Mom's cooking skills are sick.

The picture at the top is Edward being weriod.
