i bit my nails, ashtray sat right in front me, and victoria sat next to me. everything in me wanted to say something to him, but i was nervous he would have a rude response like last time i did.

i glanced at vic, and it's almost as she read my thoughts, because she shook her head, and that gave me enough confidence to kick the back of his chair.

i heard her groan, as he turned around and had a mad expression. "sorry." i quickly apologized, b it before he could turn back around i leaned on my desk. "hi."

he furrowed his eyebrows, "what do you want?"

i shrugged, "you don't talk to anyone, so i'm being nice and talking to you."

he rolled his eyes, turning straight. "yeah, well, don't be nice, and don't talk to me."

the small laugh i let out made his turn his head, "you haven't changed as much as i thought you did." i told him, even though i didn't know him at all, his two responses, when i did talk to him, were so similar.

"what?" he asked, and rested my head on my hand.
"eighth grade, at lunch.. i tried to tell you my name and you told me you didn't care."

he raised his eyebrows, i guess he didn't remember. but he didn't ever respond, so i talked again. "are you going to the carnival, today?"

"yeah." the short reply was enough for me, i leaned back into my chair with a nod.

and victoria, immediately gave me a face for me to text her what i said, and what he said, and i did exactly that.

me and vic got ready at my house, her going home with maddy and i, and maddy of course, eventually came in my room and begged to put gems on me and victoria.. and we let her.

maddy gasped, clapping her hands and the pulling out her phone. "cmon, let's take a picture!"

i playfully rolled my eyes, but went next to victoria, leaning a little in the mirror for the picture. and as soon as we were done taking pictures, we headed out the door.

maddy played loud music, her hair swinging back and forth as she sung along to it. and i sat in the back, my head leaned on the window.

as soon as we got there and got out wristbands, maddy kissed my forehead and shouted, "love you! call me if you need anything!" and ran off.

i watched her walk off, before turning to vic and hooking my arm with hers. "welp, where do you wanna go?"

she laughed, and then we walked closely together, looking at all the things here, and the people, before actually deciding to go on rides. we got on the first ride of the night, and sat closely together out of comfort.

once we got off and walked to other rides, seeing which lines were shorter, after about an hour we took a break and looked for a place we could get a drink.
